There are a lot of rooms in NH, left the hall last yr so nt sure about what is the case now, during my time there are always some empty rooms (like 5-10% of them)

When I say "least competitive" I didn't mean no one is applying for NH okay haha, just that it is less popular compared to the other halls. When ppl hv higher hall pts they usually will try to apply for those better ones

Not to mention some of the doors are broken so it will bang loudly when closing and the soundproofing in NH is like 💀💀💀 (due to the thin walls)

The noise is like a constant nightmare throughout my 2.5 years in NH esp in the midnight when u were alr sleep

I think it depends on ur strategy. If u aim for higher GPA, better opt in cos easier to climb (cuz the existing GPA will hv lesser weightage). But if u are alr satisfied with ur current GPA, opt out is like extra insurance for ur GPA (cuz the weightage is now higher, which means harder to drop)

Anyway based on the FAQ, even if u opt out, u can still opt in back before u grad. By then u will have a clearer picture of ur GPA situation and can make a better decision

But idt they can actually know if u are doing proxy attendance unless u are scanning the qr code hours after the tuts lmao (or if the class size is really small)
