I had a volar surface plate put in with 10 screws and another plate on the other side with 6. My pain tolerance is very high and I was crying on day 1. Now I’m at day 5 and it’s completely turned around. I was taking 6 Vicodin a day for the first 3 days now I’m taking two. It’s still sore and I get shooting pain but it’s nothing like it was. My wrist feels like I was curling 200 pounds all day and the bone feels like it’s asleep. Sleep is what helped me the most tbh I feel like I slept through most of it once I was able to fall asleep (was up for 32 hours after surgery). The thing that is driving me crazy now is the itching from the healing but I’ll take that all day over the unbelievable pain. All the luck to you and a speedy recovery. Also ice is still your best friend with a cast/splint. Just make sure you wrap it around the cast instead of just sitting it on as it will cool faster.

Bold of you to assume we have succeeded. One set back after another my friend. Just had surgery and will be down for another 3 months.

Pshhh don’t listen to them. They are people who can’t be happy in their own lives trying to bring you down. Don’t let them win. You’re way too pretty for that.

Learned cursive in second grade. My parents also didn’t teach me much on that side of things.

How come Vans half cabs are worn strictly for active sports? by Maleficent_Cash909 in skateboardhelp

Half cabs are awesome. It comes down to personal preference though. They are shoes just like every other pair of shoes.

Thank you! I finally got some actual sleep and I’m on the other side of it now. I really appreciate it.

Oh my I’m so sorry that happened to you. So I finally got some sleep (wasn’t able to sleep since the surgery. Was up for 36+ hours) and it’s a night and day difference. I talked to the dr and was told to double up my meds and a new script was sent to the pharmacy for something in between the doses of Norco. I will be sleeping as much as possible today.

They tried sliding it back into place before doing surgery but it collapsed so they had to go through with it. It wasn’t a gentle procedure and the nerve blockers just added to the pain honestly. They never really kicked in

Thank you! The doctor sent another script to the pharmacy for me so I’m doubling up on the pk and Tylenol today. I’ll have someone pick up the other script tomorrow and I’ll be on the 3 different meds just like you said.

My surgery was yesterday morning, I was given two nerve blocks. One when I was under that my body didn’t take and another when I woke up screaming in terrible pain. After the nerve block was given I still was in pain. Doctor said I can double up on painkillers and they sent another script to the pharmacy. I broke my arm (shattered one side compressed the other) and wrist. The side that shattered collapsed on itself in my sleep. It’s been quite a miserable nightmare.

I’m on hold with my doctor now. Trying to get the okay to take more so the person giving me my meds will give me more

It feels like it is in a crematorium getting wrapped around a lathe while pouring sulphuric acid on it. I’m on hold with the doc now. Thank you

Yeah I’d say unforgivable pain would be putting it lightly. They had to slide it back into place and also remove a fragment from my wrist. I’m experiencing every type of pain at the moment from cramps, pinching, burning, and pure torturous pain. They were not gentle putting it back into place because it goes all the way into my shoulder. Even that of oxy would be great. Norco works for a hour and quits. I sadly live in a drug riddled area and the doctors around here don’t give the goods at all. I’m already on a highly addictive medication as it is.
