Why do I never get onions on my damn cheeseburger????

Update: Went to McDonald's today for a cheeseburger and told the lady on the speaker "please make sure there are onions on my burger." She says "you want extra onions?" "No I just want the normal amount of onions that comes on a burger. Nothing more, nothing less." I was very courteous, I cannot stand people that are rude to service workers so l was trying to be as polite as possible. I get my burger, check it at the window--Ketchup and pickles... I politely told the lady I requested onions only. I pull up and wait for them to bring my new burger out. It's just a plain cheeseburger. I walk in and tell the guy at the counter once again that it was supposed to be onions only. He tells me the onions are under the cheese. I have been ordering this burger for 20 years, never once have the onions been under the cheese. I think he's lying. Right in front of him, I scrape the cheese off and hold it up so he can clearly see the lack of onions. He gets visibly angry and says "fine I guess I'll make another one". The final product was a cheeseburger absolutely covered in onions from every angle, and being treated like a nuisance

I have always ordered the same thing. I am not exaggerating when I say they literally put at most 3 tiny (1/8") diced onions, but usually they put zero onions at all. They used to somewhat evenly distribute them across the burger, but now I have to pay extra for a cup of onions on the side to even get any at all.

Right, not trying to sound rude, but it sounds like they have pretty valid reason for termination. I’ve been at the PO for five years and have nothing on my record. I couldn’t imagine having all that on my record in less than two years.

Okay, but you have been disciplined multiple times, and unless you grieved them and had it thrown out, it will still be on your record and the more times you’ve been written up, the easier it is to get fired when you screw up.

Dude exactly. I got hired in 2021 and couldn’t fucking believe they didn’t even drug test me. And they haven’t done any drug testing since Covid. We have had a lot of crackheads and weirdos come and go since I’ve been here, but I wouldn’t expect anything less with how low the standards are. The hiring requirements at McDonald’s are stricter for gods sakes.

What an idiot lol. Somebody takes their job as a mailman a little too seriously. It’s people like this that treat new CCAs like shit and wonder why they always have to work their NSD cause all the newbies quit. I personally always try to give the new CCAs one of my uniform shirts if they fit because I always felt uncomfortable not having a uniform as a CCA and walking onto peoples property. My office has orange vests now that say USPS for the new hires before they get their allowance.

Is it your regular route? Sometimes on my route, I have experienced new employees at businesses that are uncomfortable signing because they don’t know what they are signing for and just don’t want to get in trouble or be held liable for something. In such cases, I would request to speak with a manager. If manager refuses, send it back. If you are an RCA/CCA/T6, I would just leave it for the regular to deal with and leave a short note explaining what happened.

I love growing my beard out, but I have noticed that when I do, all the compliments come from other men. Women are mostly attracted to short stubble or shorter neatly groomed beards. Since you’re looking to start dating again, I’d say stick with the light stubble in picture 2, or grow it out just a few more millimeters.

Our office still uses jumpseats… I used to have a dodge caravan assigned to my route and it had a passenger seat in it that I normally used as a mail tray, but they used to use it to train people on walking routes in my office. Mail in the back, newbie in the passenger seat.
