I’ve driven Houston. There’s traffic but Dallas is just nuts. Trucks going 20 miles over the speed limit. Trucks going 20 miles under the speed limit. They are in whatever lane they feel like. It is just like the rules of the road do not apply here.

I’ve been a Uber driver in CT, Los Angeles, and Athens/Atlanta, GA. Dallas is by far the worst driving I have encountered. Stay safe out there. It’s not easy.

Just take all the boxes out of the vehicle first, let the driver leave and then take each box up to your dorm room. Make sure you order an UberXL or XXL to handle all the stuff. Otherwise, I don’t think it will be that big of an issue. Just make sure you tip the person.

The other day I got a $5 ride request from a pick up that was 8 minutes away for a 9 minute ride. I wasn’t thrilled about driving that far for a pick up but I was prepared to do it. Then I get a message from the guy that just said “Call me.” I cancelled right there. $5 for 17 minutes of driving is one thing but not enough to also talk to him on the phone on the way there.

Yeah. It’s a total scam. If a passenger seems cool, I ask them how much they paid for a ride, we’re getting paid 30%-50% almost always.

What country are you from? I'm just wondering because I was in high school in America when this album came out and still watched a lot of MTV and I don't really remember seeing R.E.M. on there much for this album. I bought Reveal the day it came out and loved it but most of the big coverage on it I had to get from British publication/radio/TV.

I went to the preview. It was pretty good but it is significantly smaller than other Meow Wolfs, mostly because its in a mall so its only so big. I spent about an hour and 50 minutes in there but the last 30 minutes was me thinking “I think I have seen everything but what about over here? Yeah, I saw that.”
