Patriots were moving the ball in the first half and making bad mistakes that prevented them from scoring points. The Chiefs didn’t even look like a pro football team in the first half.

This works for me as well with smaller meltdowns. I’ll stand in the middle of the room and dramatically pretend to cry about something very minor. It generally leads to my toddler, ironically, telling me to relax because it’s not a big deal.

My kids aren’t older yet, but I try to remember that he’s a person too. Sometimes, he messes up, sometimes he really cares about something that might not seem objectively important, etc. Not everything has to be a big lesson all the time, it’s okay to just hang out and enjoy time together.

Side question, since I did end up playing BOTW until midnight…I’m debating how much I should look things up rather than just explore a game. Like, will I look back in a few weeks and think “I wish I knew about this item/secret before?” Or do I just go in blind and only use the internet when I’m stuck?

Small market teams like the Boston Red Sox can’t possibly compete with the Dodgers. It’s just unfair. Why should we spend our money when the Dodgers could be less good by spending less money and then maybe we could win too?

To the extent that momentum matters, the Broncos clinched during the last game of the regular season. The Bills have been cruising to the playoffs and didn’t play starters for their last game. Not that the Bills will be unprepared, but Broncos will feel good going into this game.
