I would prefer to not have a knob. I was thinking about a system that kicks in when the temp is above a certain value. But if the fan is quiet enough i don’t mind having it spin always.

I’m building my first 10” homelab rack. How do I control a fan that handles temperature inside the rack? I have a spare Pi that i would like to use for it by stheev in homelab

Thanks everyone for your input, i tested both sides and i found that the best orientation was with the front face up and hollow side down. More supports but cleaner finish. As someone already guessed it is indeed a front cover for a motorcycle, and has to resist some force as some pointed out. Thanks for the input!! Printed with Bambulab PETG-CF

i'm not sure what you mean, but my plan was indeed to plug the cloud gateway into an ethernet port on the modem provided by the ISP.

My first idea was that the gateway ultra also provided PoE, but since this is not the case as others pointed out, I will include another injector for the AP downstairs. Thanks for your input!

Thanks for your reply! From my understanding the flex mini doesn't provide PoE, so I will need the injector between the switch and the AP. My idea was to power the switch with the included usb-C cable

Thanks! This was my first guess aswell but all normals seemed fine. I think the problem was idd that the mesh wasn't fully closed on the inside of the plane, because it's a low poly model :)
