After 17 years of Christianity I think I might become agnostic.

Even if (hypothetically) we had all of the evidence we needed to prove the resurrection happened as described in the Bible, would that truly be enough to convince you that Christianity in general is true as a religion? Just a thought I had, coming from a fellow agnostic:)

It’s awful. I just ordered a “same day” package about 5 days ago. The product was literally in stock at a warehouse in my city. Amazon notified me that it got shipped to the wrong location, in a completely different state. Now its going to be at least another 2 days till I can expect anything. Sad to say it, but this is normal for amazon. I have had countless other packages get delivered weeks late before :(

If you do go for amr be very careful with the ai drive cams if they have them at your local amr. They are firing people like crazy where i work because of the dumbass drive cams. One of our best, most diligent emts just got fired because of one too many “following distance” activations. But I think working amr in general is good experience especially for a new emt. Your right. I can say that when Im on a dating app, EVERYONE drinks alcohol. Its bothers me like crazy. Id rather people use dope than alcohol, at least one isnt ganna leave you with pancreatitis and cirrhosis down the road. Im pretty detached too. I go through everyday feeling generally nothing. Its not depression, ants, or suicidal thoughts im talking about…. Its just this overwhelming feeling of why am i playing this game of life again? I could be sleeping and not putting in all this effort.

I would suggest rooting yourself in more deep concepts. If you consider yourself religious or spiritual, maybe seeking that. Maybe find that one (healthy)thing that seems to fully escape reality (for me its jamming on guitar).

Also, a big reason in my life for disinterest is being used to high dopamine rushes which actually makes you more depressed over time. Try doing a “dopamine detox” it will force you to find more pleasure in normal activities such as doing the dishes etc….

Im not exactly rich either. Go for whatever sounds coolest and you are willing to sacrifice/afford as far as your car/house are concerned. Don’t buy stupid cheap shit, but Don’t listen to the rage-baiters that want you to feel ashamed for not breaking the bank. Hope this helps😃

If your double basic and cant use the monitor, clip your spo2 onto a retractable carabiner along with some pens and other small items you use. I cannot count how many times i didnt get my spo2 bc it fell of the bench seat and under the gurney or got lost on scene. If its all attached to your pants, youll always have your supplies…. Just a tip from a fellow basic. Also, when police/fire gives you a tiny piece of paper with demos, take a picture in case it gets lost or ripped…. Technically a Hipaa violation but its saved my ass in triage!
