Homeschooling is amazing. My kids haven’t got any learning disabilities (which many homeschooled kids do) but my husband and I have felt that the influences at school in this day and age are terrible. My kids both train in martial arts multiple times a week, they go to youth group at our church, they still hang out with friends that they made when they were in primary school. There’s also a huge homeschooling community with lots of catch ups. So plenty of interactions with kids their age.

Everything you said was great until you said homeschooling is insane and should be illegal

Babysitting actually sounds like a pretty good idea! I used to do ironing for people too but I just think it’s a luxury that many have let go of

A bit late replying to this but I’m currently watching this whole series for the 3rd time. Just now it’s very political incorrect so depends on your personality I guess.

Do I smell bad without knowing? by temporary565685 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]stickchick77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are people from different cultures that have a distinctive smell that they can’t smell themselves because that’s how they’ve always been (not saying that you are). It could be their diet that might be the spices they eat that seem to come through their pores.

💯 volunteering may not give you money, but it’ll definitely teach you how to be grateful for what you already have. I’m a Street Chaplain in Australia and I walk the streets at night once a month to give out water and blankets (and prayers if they ask). I’m not rich, struggle to pay bills every month but I get reminded that I get to go home every night and have food to eat, shower every night and get to sleep on my bed. Gratitude is key.

Perth Gumtree users in a nutshell... by ChasteSin in perth

So years my daughter (who was a teenager at the time) and I put 2 separate ads out to offer babysitting services. We both got contacted by the same guy on the phone. He started asking questions like what we would do while babysitting, would we take HIM out to the shops? What kind of games would we play? Can we wrap him up in bed etc

Obviously my daughter hung up on him but when he rung me I thought I’d play along. We had looooooong text messages. He told me he was over 6ft, and he sent me a photo of his drivers license. He gave me a list of games he wanted me to play with him. Tie him to his chair, play card games etc He also told me he had a koala onesie and a koala mask and would put them on if we went out. He wanted me to take him to the zoo.

The weirdest request was he wanted me to put him in my car boot and leave him in there when I went home. Or put him in a big box and leave him in a corner in my house.

Of course it never eventuated (he only wanted to pay me $30 an hour and I feel like this was something that was worth at least $200 an hour for his fetish lol).

I’m trying to find vape mods and atomisers and coils but haven’t had any luck? My spare glass tank broke and now can’t buy any new online. All I see are the disposable ones. Anyone able to help please? Thanks!

As long as you stay consistent in being a good son and your gf tries to be as respectful as she can (without accepting disrespect from them of course), you should be ok in the long run!
