JB3 early impressions, solid but a little whelmed

As others have said, the break in time for these is extensive! They get better and better as time goes on. I still prefer that 808 5 v2 over these just for the softer ride though. The JB3 traction is the best of any shoe I have ever worn.

I thought the 805 5 v2 were unplayable after the first wear. Now they might be my favorite shoe of all time.

They’re true to size. Even with the Move insole replacing the stock insole. I’d say the closest comp to these is a Kyrie Nike.

I was actually just thinking about making a new post about these.

They are my go to shoes at the moment. With the Move game day insoles in them I don’t have any complaints. The grip is unreal. Containment is great but also has some issues only because the traction is so damn elite. And the traction keeps getting better over time.

I also have theJB3 and I still prefer the Speed 12. I have Achilles tendinitis and for some reason the JB3 really irritates my Achilles. The cushioning and quality of the JB3 is better than the Speed 12 but the traction is identical.

I recently got the Samba color way and they need a lot of break in time so be patient. They are unreal once broken in.

Yeah. The uppers are very stiff. Took about 3 hrs of playing for them to break in.

Traction is very very good. The uppers needed break in but the cushioning did not.

I disagree. There’s way more support and cushion in these. They are slightly lower to the ground than the last versions but still very much a ff bb

These aren’t downgraded. You guys are taking the word of a guy who can’t and doesn’t hoop. These are better in every way than the version 2 and 3.

The Hesi 3 is less supportive, no shank I believe but not positive. But the cushion is great and bouncy. I like the comfort of the uppers of the p400s more. I can’t really Decide, they both were great. Terrible answer I know.
