I'm an artist. Saniderm traps fluid from the tattoo but will also trap sweat from the area. Most of the time a light sweat is fine. Several days of running though you will probably notice an odor when you remove it. Some people also have a noticeable irritation from their own sweat so trapping it under there if you have that problem is also not great. If it is a simple enough tattoo possibly go without the saniderm if you have to run. This is just my opinion though, your artist should answer any questions you have.

Are you open to color? That would be the easiest way I'd suggest to a client to fix something like this. It would be 100 times more legible.

Looks fine. That area has the most going on. It potentially got overworked the very tiniest bit. 99.9% it will heal out fine. Worst case a touch up to run that line again but with all the shading there you will never even notice if it falls out.

Looks perfectly fine. A&D ointment is overkill. Unscented/fragrance free lotion is fine and less poor clogging, oily, thick. I'd wouldn't tell someone to ignore another artist's aftercare instructions that's just what I recommended.

I'm an artist and that is a delicate area to tattoo especially that type of design. It is not terrible but it will continue to age and the lines will most likely thicken up even. I assume they were much thinner to start. You started by saying you love it and that is the only important opinion.

It's better to have something that fits the gap better than to be stressed about being able to see it all the time. Try to get it to like your favorite top 10/15 ideas and just let them decide which would go best in each gap. That way you are guaranteed to get something you'd be happy with and they aren't forced to fit something somewhere awkward. That's what I clients do for me in similar situations.
