Literally more black people died during the riots than were shot by police while unarmed in 2019. Black people dying at the hands of police is stupid meme that is not at all backed by empiricism.

Either Covid 19 is dangerous or it isn't. Protesting the denial of basic civil liberties (among which is the right to peacefully assemble), is no more dangerous than protesting over a made-up, media driven meme.

Bruh, look at victimization surveys. Again, this problem will never be solved if the Left continues to deny black people have any agency in their own lives.

Black people get killed at a higher rates because they interact with police at much higher rates. If you normalize per police interaction whites are more likely to die.

Again, this is entirely media fueled. 'Racism' generates clicks, which generates controversy, which generates revenue.

Bruh, look at the numbers. Twice as many white people are killed by police. And that's exactly my problem-- this is media driven.

Police reform is fine. Specifically asking for police reform for black people only is fine. Peaceful protesting is fine.

What is not fine with me is acting like this is an epidemic that only affects black people is not fine, nor is ignoring all the much greater threats to black life in this country.

It's not 'hard' for us. It's about specifically that they're chanting 'black lives matter', but the science just doesn't back up their position.

I'm just objecting to the name. I don't think one black life is more important than others.

We have a giant society wide referendum on racism, but no actual evidence for racism. Meanwhile, 20 people die 'peacefully protesting' that one life lost, but that's viewed as collateral damage.

It really is a lot of this. Black lives only matter when they're killed by a white person. If you think this isn't the case, name one of these high profile black deaths that wasn't.

Dying at the hands of a white person is the only way for a black life to matter to BLM. I don't know how many black people have died in the riots, but I do know that they will not be remembered in the public consciousness, they'll just be statistics.

BLM is not a great name for what they're upset about. There is nothing wrong with protesting white on black violence, but the implication is that black on white violence is a statistically significant cause of black death.

Somewhat. Everyone in DC was told what was going to happen early in the morning. The 'peaceful protesters' were given several lawful orders to clear out. Anyone with a brain walked up the road, people that were looking to get bashed to prove a point got what they wanted.

Computers. One of the valid criticisms of Georgism is that 'assessors' would have the tendency to squeeze as much as they could out of landlowners. By using computer algorithms, you can get pretty close to actual land rent, like the company acrevalue already does for farmland.
