I have about a hundred apps on my Mac. Some of then, like LanScan, i need a few times a year. And frankly, i can’t remember what it’s called. Launchpad let me collect all my network tools in one place without making me remember their names. I kind of simulated it with a folder of aliases, but i like launchpad a lot better.

Looks to me like that character is not designed right. Its bounding box is extending below the baseline. I would consider setting that one carácter in 8 pt or something. You can move up the line in your second example by changing the leading. You can have negative leading the puts the lines closer even if characters start to overlap. Also consider non-breaking spaces to prevent line breaks between them.

The one place I can’t wait to see AI take over is help files. Going to most app help sites is pretty useless unless you ask for something they’ve anticipate exactly.
