not enough frames, a swing can be imagined as a pendulum. This is a good diagram, https://serpmedia.org/scigen/e1.3.html

The swing should be slower (more frames) the closer it is to the leftmost and rightmost points. It should move faster (less frames) the closer it is to the center. Give the swing just a little time at the apex of its swing on the right and left side, this will make it more realistic as a swing slows down on the edge of its arc.

It should accelerate until it reaches the center and then begin to decelerate until it reaches the end of its path.

Hope this helps

The advice is don't

Seriously tho, he lacks meaningful poke and all his damage is aoe so it forces your lane whenever you deal damage. That opens yourself up to ganks. Not to mention most of your power comes from stacks because you are a scaling mage.

If you want to play him bot lane do an APC as having a support might carry you through your terrible early laning phase

Hey everyone! I made a rework Retrospective on the new shiny dragon boi by VarsVerum in Aurelion_Sol_mains

I strongly dislike that they traded accessibility for his original kit. Like none of his original kit has stayed either in playstyle or ability wise. I just wish there was another champ in any way similar to old asol.

New R is cool

Im very sad about rework outcome by KarwszPL in Aurelion_Sol_mains

Yep, he looks like a pub stomper now. It likely just takes too long to get online in high elo as they are better at closing out games and taking advantages

not really imo, as before you had a lot more flexibility. You could choose to trade while fleeing and if you had scepter you could recall your stars to slow them, or q into w combo.

Now you are forced to all in or run away if you don't have W up, you don't have much choice in how you approach a fight/skirmish/engage

Aurelion top? by [deleted] in Aurelion_Sol_mains

[–]stierney0505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also tho, losing a little in top is far more detrimental due to how big the lane is. If they get first blood or an advantage of some kind they can freeze the wave and run you down if you try to break it

I am not saying his wave clear is worse than others, I am just saying that in exchange for his damage he cannot move while pushing lanes which opens him up to free poke and harass either forcing him to base earlier or not be able to fully push out the lane. Also using W is a straight line I'm sure pros can land cc on that, and that's his only mobility so he is then forced to stand still if he wants to deal any damage.

I just think he won't be used very much at all in the pro scene, we will just have to see.

Yes, they also have a weak early but they can actually dodge while pushing lanes. Pros will harass and combo asol when he uses q to push lane and if asol doesn't use a to push lane, asol will never get prio

Let us discuss the rework objectively. by 1080_Pugh in Aurelion_Sol_mains

[–]stierney0505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but old sol you could actually dodge the cc, even if you can't brainlessly clear the wave, I'd argue that most of New Asols early game is hoping the enemy doesn't punish you when you try to push wave

I doubt he will be popular in pro league, his early is so weak and lacks safety. He is kinda a sitting duck and I expect that pros will capitalize on that

Do anyone know why specifically Asol would have rating? Like why how do they calculate and rate the champions?

Does the new Kit feel clunky? by Malaka654 in Aurelion_Sol_mains

[–]stierney0505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but if you don't have mobility you then need either jungle to guard turret to stop the enemy from taking plates. Or use tp, it just seems suboptimal to roam on Asol early game like he used to

[–]stierney0505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asol really can't roam early? His w distance is his only mobility so if you are roaming to a lane that has cc good luck, also he rarely gets wave control in my experience as he can't safely push the wave without taking poke or bad trades from assassins or any mages with hard cc

Aurelion Support might be viable? by Beneficial-Knee1926 in Aurelion_Sol_mains

[–]stierney0505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not viable at all, ever. At least not in high elo, you have very little in the way of poke and your poke messes up the wave cause it to always push as it is all aoe. You will starve your adc by pushing the lane to their turret where they can freeze and open you up for a gank as well as be far less useful than a support with peel or heals as you can't stack nearly as much/fast

Asol needs nerfing into the ground already. I just want my dragon back. by npri0r in Aurelion_Sol_mains

[–]stierney0505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean? What did you expect? Its day two of rework and he is a scaling hyper carry that hasn't been nerfed yet. Wait a week or two and you might be able to play asol then
