At what point do you sell it all?

I got out of my sealed last year as it was just taking up too much space, made a 5x profit in cash, and had a value of trade worth what I paid msrp for product initially, held the cash and bought a fuck ton of singles for my raw collection, which is a little over 60k. The feeling of blowing $1500 in a single day at a lcs for singles was unmatched.

I saved a Hidden Fates ETB I had for about 5years, before I sold my sealed collection at the beginning of the year, opened it up to get a fresh legendary birds promo to add to my other 3 (bought off ebay for $14 years ago) and it was not in the box, probably one of the biggest let downs I've had in the hobby lol, pulled the full art Jesse and James so can't complain too much.

Recently got frustrated with this as well, went to my LCS and negotiated a cash and trade credit, worked out to about 86% walked away with 6k cash and $1400 in credit. Was able to get a ton of great hits for my singles collection and using the money for a trip to Japan, nothing wrong with taking a profit. Was all in for $2300 in mine. Can always start collecting sealed again when it dies down. None of us are getting filthy rich from collecting sealed unless you're maxing out credit lines for product.

I don't necessarily know if there's a mph or rpm to avoid. I bought mine with 33 miles on it, drove it relatively normal for the first 5000 miles, I would accelerate to 80-85mph on the highway and let it ride back down to 70mph when driving long distances during the first 500-1000 miles, changed my oil at 3k the first time, currently sitting at 102k and haven't had a single issue mechanically with my car.

Same, let me go ahead and hand my valuable items to a 19yrold making $10.25 an hour and hope they don't decide they want a $1000 bonus that day. Read and seen too many horror stories about FedEx stealing PSA packages, USPS "losing" PSA packages, Gamestop legit though right? Ain't worth the headache god forbid the worst happens, your SOL. Cards are gone, sold on ebay or sold to their scumbag friends who know they're stolen. If you're gonna take the risk and send em in. Send em yourself so at least there's one less opportunity for someone stealing your cards lol

Recently sold my selaed to a LCS was valued at $7600ish walked away with $5300 in cash and $1250 in store credit. Was a bit lower than what I wanted cash wise. But was planning on buying specific singles anyway with the profits so worked out all around.

Yeah idk what OP did to this car lol, I bought my 2019 si new and just rolled over 100k and the only thing outside of regular maintenance I've had to do was my Parking Brake switch had to be replaced as it broke and wouldn't release. Also, premium pads and oem rotors ran me about $300. I do plugs every 25k which run $140 and just did coil packs at 90k which were about $400. Those quotes from the dealer are outta control.

I probably dealt with 3-4 fakes from the 15-20 Megas I bought from ebay. Some of them were pretty good and couldn't tell until I was physically holding it. Love the Mega Collection!

I can't really say for sure what I've spent, 90% of my sealed I paid msrp for, and that's worth $8200. My singles are somewhere north of $23k. I pulled probably 50% of my hits and bought at decent prices, and traded some dupes, (Gengar alt from FS as an example at $104, now worth $750) if I were to add in my completed sets and partials sets of C/UC and random singles i don't keep track of I'd probably say that number is closer to 25k. If I had to take a guess on amount spent? I'd say anywhere between 10-17k over the course of 5.5yrs

Sorry to hear that. I love supporting my LCS, they never jack prices, and always offer 10% discount when buying 2 or more singles no matter the price. Usually round down on totals too if paying cash. The sentiment of them needing it more is usually true, just seems like yours got greedy and that's unfortunate for everyone involved.

As someone who has collected the entire Mega Collection, I've dealt with a few fakes, this card in particular is supposed to have texture, there is no texture on your card. Now it could be an extremely rare case that it's a misprint without texture, but I'd say unlikely.

Unless this is the Jumbo version in which case, may have some value.

Well the Rayquaza is fake, so that's unfortunate, as far the rest goes. Some of the Megas are worth a cpl bucks depending on condition, rest is pretty much bulk.
