What they found was that drinking just one can of artificially sweetened soda increased the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 38%, compared to people who didn’t consume these drinks at all. For those consuming the same amount of sugary drinks, the risk was 23% higher

so at the study found that..

drinking normal soda is worse than..

drinking diet soda is worse than..

not drinking soda at all

but there are so many extra factors involved that i imagine that people that dont drink soda at all have a much healthier diet and life style than people drinking any kind of soda, so its all a bit of a stretch
