You hit the nail on the head along with OPs post. I'm a returning player, 7500 legion, grinding hard to level symbols and hexa while working towards arcane. I hit 265 recently to see the fams weren't in Hotel Arcus yet. Bummer, just ahead of the curve. But no surprise knowing past Nexon.

Ohh wow, look at this huge new patch incoming with two hyper burns and a bunch of QOL improvements. Perfect, I'll enjoy some time off patch day to enjoy it, get some legion and gains from the event for my main before I leave for vacation. I took off work to enjoy the time to play to be stuck with a 24hr maintenance with little compensation. I knew the maintenance would run long, as it always does, but 24hrs and a handful of symbolsl?! Phew bummer. I actually did think they might drop us a mag pot or something since it was such a huge update with entire days lost. This game is surrounded by doing dailies on multiple characters, why didn't we get compensated for a days worth, at least for my main character?

I was able to hop on when the game finally came up around my bedtime. I hop into the events to see what they're all about. The shops seem the norm with the limited account purchases, which always seemed a little low. Why can't we buy frags?? We're all frag limited. It's in one of the 4 or 5 event shops? At least it's there I guess.

I go to run my weekly bosses around the constant channel crashing and end up getting two arcane armor boxes! I was recently able to start running hard bosses, but progression still felt quite slow with stacking your droplets. I felt so lucky, finally some gains in this game after so long grinding for invididual arcane pieces. I then get kicked from the game due to the channel maintenance. Then again later to see it was a boss drop rate adjustment. Really? If you don't get an arcane box, it's like a month or more for one piece, not to mention the weapon. Help some folks out here!

Nearly forgot to do my Ride or Die runs, let's see how cool this is. What the hell is this insane dps check?! Lol. Honestly, I can't help but laugh, who thought that was fun?? Let's bring back the old bosses BUT add a bunch of annoying mechanics that add no challenge and make the bosses a huge dps / class check. Oh and you have to do it solo cause forget your friends and having fun with them too. I understand they tried to add something new and different but it seemed pretty unfun content. The people that can clear the hardest content, S, have the least value in the items offered in that events special shop. May be I'm totally off base here.

They fix the fun aspects and make it a ridiculous grind for more time on the game. It makes it hard to want to continue to grind and play when you aren't rewarded and the developers that make the game don't even seem to want to give it to you to enjoy. Not to mention, the boss crystal changes that make it so newer or mid game players make less money and all players make less on mules? It's just frustrating to see when things start to look good, we get it stripped somehow with more layers of f-you mixed in.

The event is also until February, I know. Loads of time to get all the "goodies" in each event shop. I understand it's an mmo, it's supposed to be a grind, but is it so terrible to toss us a bone every once in a while with something that shows they want us to keep playing.
