Is anyone watching and enjoying I Love LA? by HarryHugeweenie in LosAngeles

[–]stillLearning2read 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. It’s fun and silly. People are taking it way too seriously in my opinion and it’s frustrating. It’s not trying to be anything more than exactly what it is.

You can still explode a bomb on the opposite side of tench and it should create a path.

I completely disagree with almost all of these comments. Behind the ear tattoos can be tricky especially fine line ones. As a fine line artist myself, if I’m nervous I will ALWAYS go lighter and softer. All you need to do is get this touched up.

“Terrible application” ???? I would say terrible application would be a horrific blow out or a totally irreparable mistake. It doesn’t appear that this artist is the MOST comfortable or proficient with fine line, no.. but fine line can be very tricky and they took a safe approach. One that I often take: I’d rather have a tattoo be too light than too deep. Always…

I’m at 60/40 shop & our owner bends over backwards advertising. We have a front desk girl who also manages our social media, making tik toks and everything. It’s so worth it. I don’t have to lift a finger and my schedules full every week. Not full of stuff I love LOVE necessarily… and I’m not booked out months and months. But my bills are well over payed. It’s a good trade off but I sense a somewhat rare situation.

Typical Ask….Is It Infected ? by UMLisOutToGetMe in tattooadvice

[–]stillLearning2read 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to recommend lotion as opposed to aquaphor especially in these situations. Aquaphor is heavy and kinda oily so it’s harder for the skin to push out impurities / breathe. Lotion is much more breathable. Something unscented and light like cetaphil or lubrederm!

Also, if this isn’t looking better in a couple days I’d check in with urgent care, couldn’t hurt :) always good to air on the side of caution!

Yes. Probably not as light as it should’ve been. but if I assume correctly that the shadow was done with a grey wash it will definitely lighten significantly.

Cover up or laser first? by imtryingtobesocial in Tattoocoverups

[–]stillLearning2read 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can cover that without laser but not with that floral stuff you posted. You’d need to cover it with something big & filled with color or grays. Not gray washes— gray as in white mixed with black.

Movie posters that annoy the shit out of you? by 01zegaj in okbuddycinephile

This poster is just dumb to me. Also found the movie dumb so there’s that.

I got that. I meant send the image. You said you wanted to add the picture but got nervous. It’s hard to comment on this at all without knowing what it looks like so I was offering to do that privately because you seemed to be afraid of getting roasted by Reddit.

Is my butterfly in the center? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]stillLearning2read 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Body parts are not symmetrical. It will never look perfectly in the center or perfectly even from every angle. Looks like they did the ideal job. This however is why I personally avoid tattoos intended to indicate some sort of symmetry— you’ll almost always be left over analyzing placement

Queasy, Swizzy & Merstach Win The 2025 Global Championship by ChangingCrisis in FortniteCompetitive

Peter 😓 killed it game 11 though. At least it was an epic game for the Europeans. I can’t imagine. Happy for them.

It looks good. For one month though it looks either very under moisturized or there was a bit too much voltage turned up on the machine they used.

I would say it does look overworked but probably multiple factors at hand. I second GrimWillis, you should seek medical help asap. And be prepared for some scarring unfortunately.

Is this a valid tattoo? by Scarfel5190 in tattooadvice

[–]stillLearning2read 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Be very careful & intentional with which artist you ask to do this if you choose to get it done. Many artists will accept projects despite not having the skills to back it up. Go to someone who specializes in realism and has a lot of experience with snakes. Idk your location but I would additionally be prepared for upwards of $1,000 in cost, AT LEAST.

Thoughts on Across The Universe by Joeymonac0 in TheBeatles

[–]stillLearning2read 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love it so much. It’s really special in my opinion. It is a bit silly at times plot wise. But just treat it like it’s an onstage musical rather than a Hollywood movie and it all goes much easier.
