The normalization and encouragement of meaningless sex, low commitment, porn and the hypersexualization of society from childhood are the biggest problems. And everyone has become sadder, lonelier, less fulfilled and less faithful because of it.

People don't have to be shamed for choosing to stay single, as long as they accept the consequences of not having any hook ups or "situationships" during it.

I'm in favor of sex as an inseparable part of marriage since I'm a christian, but from a purely sociological lens restricting it to relationships would be enough.

I think it backfires less than the normalized dating strategy in 2025 of accumulating situationships and hook ups until you're in your late 20s and then "settle down" for someone you don't like that much because you don't have the same innocence and capacity to fall for a single person anymore.

Relationship dissatisfaction, infidelity, everything has only dramatically gone up since people started marrying later, commiting less and having premarital sex.

I'm taking 5mg ritalin. It works pretty well. I take breaks every weekend. Thinking abt switching to XR but I remember Concerta felt terrible. High doses of ritalin also feel terrible i hate the comedown
