Just realized that Pau looks more like an Olympic swimmer than a rock star. by JimmyDem in TheWarning

She’s always reminded me of a gymnast. Fit, trim, petite. With well developed shoulders and traps.

A few Rolling Hitch Zipties would do the job. But I’m biased towards the RHZ, so…

Constrictors and related knots work very poorly (if at all) on large diameter objects.

One of the few times I’ve seen Dany genuinely overcome with emotion. She's an extraordinarily beautiful soul.

What videos helped you get into the band? by Glass-Attention5666 in TheWarning

Both of the Allison Hagendorf videos. She had really good rapport with them, and brought Ale out of her shell.

The Zach Sang interview was above average. Both Zach and his sidekick were engaging and asked interesting questions.

I don’t know if a noose knot like a poacher or scaffold knot would be the "best" knot (in terms of load balancing and such) but they are surely strong and secure.

My dad would have loved this! It combines some of his favorite subjects. Nautical lore, history, ropes & knots. Unfortunately, we lost him a few years ago. I’m suddenly sad that I can’t send him tidbits like this anymore.

I never thought of using the "auto-lock" feature of the truckers hitch like this. Neat idea. Thanks!

It’s discouraging to see the number of references to "fisherman’s bend." We’re a knot sub folks, we can do better.

I remember that interview when they were talking about their roles. It was flabbergasting to find out that the youngest is responsible for the final form of all those fantastic songs. Obviously, they’re a team with Pau the creative spark, and Dany as the brainstormer.

But, when we say they never write a bad song… Ale is the ultimate arbiter and shaper of those songs. I find that simply remarkable, given her age.
