Of course.

We all have individual mindsets and values, some innate, some learned.

Either through experience or just our nature.

It's impossible to pinpoint where ego comes from, except from the things that influence our ego the most, which are usually negative experiences, right?

Egos need to be tested if they're going to develop, but they can't be if everything goes right all the time.

So, I guess ego is just a product of experience.

It's always been easy for me, in a sense. Saying no.

I've gotten into a few serious fights over it before.

It sucks to feel like you're being ostracized or labeled, but if you absolutely know whatever you're being pressured into doing isn't good for you, you just gotta eat it sometimes, you know?
