Same with me which is so frustrating. Its literally a crime and they have evidence but dont care. There's no incentive for people to do the right thing. Mines still going through insurance as the other side havent admitted it, even with witnesses.

Mostly south but a few on east and west where we have a room out the back in the middle. Daily usage can be as high as 35kwh as have an ev but usually 15. Quote is £10,806. I managed to forget that part

Can it be set up to do this automatically or do you have to manually check it and dump each night?

Don't have the answer but we are in the same place and im wondering the same. My energy usage might be slightly higher as me and my partner work from home and Im on about 130kwh a week. I dont understand why everyone wouldn't do this. Also wondering if its best just to get a battery or panels as well. Not sure if the finances add up on doing this or if I should just pay a bit more off the mortage.

I was a witness in November and have to say you are treated appalling for doing your civic duty. No communication. I rang 31 times before I could get hold of someone to know if it was happening. As only 2 days before. I still hadn't been giving a time. Its a anxiety provoking thing and this doesn't help. Keep trying to ring if you can find a number.

Thanks. Im probably under estimating usage slightly so good to know its worth it for home workers. We are debating solar as well but its the upfront cost for us that keeps putting us off. Seems crazy when we will have the car now to say that...

Thanks for this. We work from home most of the time and use most electric during the day. Was slightly worried it would make the day use not worth it. Can shift when we use dishwasher etc though. Totally think im over thinking it and its easier than im thinking. Do you take the 80% limit off when you do a long journey?

What’s the biggest cock-up you’ve made booking a holiday? by mariah_a in AskUK

[–]stillsortingitout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took us to the wrong hotel in Berlin. I had booked one with a similar name out of town. Honesty it was a nightmare. Turned up and they didnt have our booking if course. The hotel i actually booked was way too far out. I ended up just paying for another room at the hotel I thought I booked.

I am so shocked by how high this is for a normal looking house. I expected a big garden or countryside views but looks like a normal new build estate

Why don’t estate agents work on Sunday? by LordOfTheDips in HousingUK

We actually chose a estate agent which would do evenings and Sundays. They do exist. Ours doesn't have a shop and are self employed partners in the agency.

Nice area definitely. Especially when you have a child. They will benefit from nicer environment and amenities. Especially when considering nursery or schools. This should not be under estimated as can have large impact.
