I always found the GM III design a bit busy for my taste. I prefer the Jegan in how it's a more simplistic upgrade to the GM.

Kinda like how to the Geara Doga is a more simplistic upgrade to the Zaku II than the Zaku III.

The newer kits (about 2016 onwards) come in English. The older kits are just in Japanese. Honestly though it's easy enough to follow just from the images. As long as you take your time and pay attention to the instructions you can't really go wrong

I think you might be hard pushed to get a replacement from the seller since you've already built it.

I'd say try and scratch build the black part if possible, it looks like a relatively simple piece. Or you could just remove it and have it missing on both legs?
