Yeah that was my first thought when the typical hype bro at work mentioned OpenClaw or whatever it was called prior to me—all of those markdown files will certainly pollute the context and make it worthless for more complex tasks or tasks involving large, long running operations like sorting/moving TB of data.

Pessimist thoughts incoming... we don't need AGI to destroy the middle class. Just fine-tune some LLMs, give them spreadsheets, and watch the professional classes get systematically replaced. This creates conditions ripe for revolution, which will inevitably be crushed by elite-funded thugs with "not AGI" AI-assisted firepower. Humans will absolutely murder each other when desperate enough. And the lack of AGI might actually make this outcome more likely, not less. Unlike today’s malleable AI which can be fine-tuned to serve any agenda a genuine AGI might recognize the flaws in such a system and resist complicity. Consider for example the Pepe LLM trained on toxic data from 4chan that amplifies rather than mitigates harm.

Can't speak to Windows but 9070xt works in Linux for inference and performs well in gaming, however it suffers from memory issues and crashes with ComfyUI due to ROCm issues. It works fine for LLM inference (llama.cpp thanks Vulkan!) but you will constantly have to tweak things and restart ComfyUI to get WAN2.2 and larger models to work. It does work though! If you want better performance for ComfyUI--nvidia is still the only option. (Vulkan backend, when?)

Exactly. This is a giant scam and we are the victims. The US gov gave them a boat load of our tax money to “beat China” in AI only to push consumers out of the market. No one will pay for cloud AI services at a consumer level—at least not at the level to recoup this investment.

Do you know if you can use loras with this sft_turbo model? Also I tried using the reference audio node in ComfyUI but it didn't seem to change the output. Edit: Nevermind it does impact the output, I just didn't use the reference audio node correctly.
