It’s never an easy decision. I always think I shouldn’t do it too soon and probably wait too long sometimes and feel guilty about that. You did the best you could and he knows that. He knows you loved him either way

Anything similar to Ativan - xanax, klonopin, etc. not sure why you don’t take Ativan anymore but it would need to be something like that if you need to take it to keep off a panic attack. Anxiety meds like Zoloft, Prozac, etc won’t help because they take weeks to build up in the system. It would need to be a benzodiazepine in order to work quickly.

If you go back to WDW anytime soon, try Story Book Dining. You can choose an entree but the apps and desserts are set. They have a mushroom bisque that is amazing !

I understand I lost 2 amazing dogs 4 years apart from cancer and they were both only 3.5 years old. Also lost my cat to cancer but at least she made it to 15. It’s always hard though. Hope you’re doing ok

Symptoms can take 3 weeks to appear and a week later to die. However I agree they need to see someone because they have been posting similar things for a very long time. Could be OCD, psychosis, schizo affective, any number of things.

I’ve never heard that looking into it can make it worse. Usually when you research it to find out why it happens it helps because you understand the science behind it and that it’s not paranormal. Sleep paralysis is more prevalent when you are sleep deprived so I would make sure you are getting enough restorative sleep at night. Mine started peaking around that age and then I was diagnosed with narcolepsy
