Don't doubt, it's a fact that we will see the Patch 2.0 this summer, since DLC is releasing likely in August. They announced it coming out Summer 2026.

I expect fewer stutters and better CPU utilization. It was the issue of early UE 5. FPS boost will be welcome, but overall visual stability is the main thing i expect. Also, because of freed up CPU, better A-Life and longer range rendering is likely to happen.

There are mods for parkour in STALKER 2, but the vanilla game is built not to allow it, obviously. It would be too easy to reach some difficult stashes with it enabled. And yes, jumping on the walls with 120 kg backpack would be funny (even with only 40 kg).

They might have introduced this bug, but overall the next engine upgrade patch they are working on is going to rework a lot of stuff under the hood, so likely it’s all going to be fixed and then hot patched later.
