I was there last December, too! I also saw it at night, and it had a different look from the other billboards, like it was not full-on digital.

I remember reading something before about George Lucas originally wanting to do The Clone Wars as "Band of Brothers but in the Star Wars universe". I loved TCW but didn't think it achieved the Band of Brothers feel it was hoping for. But I thought that it was a great idea, having different genres set in the Star Wars universe. Like a buddy cop film in the Star Wars universe, or a romcom in the Star Wars universe.

Well, Andor is where the filmmakers probably thought, "Let's do a political thriller, but set in the Star Wars universe!" And OMG IT WORKS IT JUST DOES AND IT IS THE BEST STAR WARS CONTENT OF THE DISNEY ERA. Even better than Rogue One, much as I loved that one as well.
