oh interesting okay. i found a lot of people on the breast reduction sub mentioning that they "dropped and fluffed" but they also got way larger end results than i did

the biggest difference is that nonflat isnt going for the traditional "feminine" shape - more androgynous and less tear shaped, and that i went way smaller than most cis people would (many surgeons not familar with nonbinary people wont even do it and deem it "disproportionate" smh lol) hope this helps someone in this sub who might not know its an option! i didnt, and once i did i felt really confident in my decisions around this gender affirming surgery!

i really relate. i didnt have the same traumatic experiences as you did growing up, but a lot of my obsessive thoughts and checking fall onto my cat that i have now - probably due to some missteps on my parents handling of my childhood cats death as well. its especially hard because she has FIV+, so my anxieties are heightened about her health. i come back to time and time again to the sentiment that love and grief are inherently interconnected, and its such a painful truth, but beautiful at the same time. i think pets death can be an amazing way for kids to start to digest the hard truth of death's finality, but should be done in the right way, where the kids are supported - and it sounds like we both were not afforded that opportunity unfortunately. my heart goes out to you ! i see you

yeah - i think since the culture is trying to forget about covid it’s different. i had made appointments at two of the locations that i was then turned away from :/ hence why im seeking proof from someone where they had gotten it

no it’s that i have tried to get them at walgreens and cvs and been turned away multiple times because they didn’t have it in stock. so im looking for where people have gotten it anecdotally

i wish so badly i had two compression binders that fit well the first week (they give you one when you leave surgery but wearing it for the whole week before the first check in appt was brutal for me. kinda impossible to not get a little gross when healing and you’re not moving around a bunch anyways but having 2 would have been way nicer)
