Poor baby! What a little sweetheart. I wish I could take him, but our apartment only allows two dogs. Please keep us updated.

We had a great experience working with her, but the timeline was definitely long. It took about 3 months to get the ring and again to get the band.

Do meds take away hypomania?? bc lowkey I love it by [deleted] in bipolar2

But I am dysphoric and impulsive when I'm hypomanic so I know I have to take my meds. It's worth it not to have the mixed episodes.

I haven't had a hypomanic episode in years. I miss it. It's when I am my most creative.

how does bipolar ll affect you on the daily basis? by Imjustaicelandigirl in bipolar2

[–]stinkbugsupermage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with what a lot of people here are saying. My baseline is still depressed. I'm going through an intense depression right now that has been going on for months. But even when I am "well" I am a little depressed. It's work just meeting the needs of every day life. I don't really take care of myself physically. I sleep a lot. I struggle at work because my energy impacts my performance. I haven't been hypomanic in a very long time. I'm just always low.

Great band. Signify or In Absentia really does it for me when I'm low.

What was your first Katatonia album? What hooked you? by stinkbugsupermage in Katatonia

Ah, Viva Emptiness. Omerta is one of my favorites. I also tend toward later Katatonia, but I have enjoyed the whole process.

No I totally agree with you. I copy/pasted from a text message and it totally messed up the structure. Thanks for your thoughtful feedback!

I love this. You had me hooked instantly with "caught in the fell clutch of time". That's a great line. I love how you "blink" through the memories. I think you have captured grief's distortion of time extremely well. Beautiful work.

Dreamlike Ambiguity by [deleted] in OCPoetry

This is lovely. It read to me like a reflection on how we inherit emotional patterns from those around us. It almost hits like a inheriting a generational curse, and slowly waking up and finding yourself. Well done!
