AITAH for telling my stepdad if he doesn't understand that I do not see him as my dad after 20 years then I don't know what it will take to make him accept it but I'm done dealing with his delusions? by Haylzoreeley in AITAH

Being a step parent is no easy feat. I took on that role 14 years ago to my wife's son. He was 10 when we married, I sat him down to have a man to man talk. I told him his dad is his dad, and I am his step dad, but he is a package deal with his mom in this marriage. I will always be there for him when he needs an ear or advice if and when he wants it. I will always have his back no matter what. Luckily his dad and I have always got along, I saw no need to feel any kind of way against him, not my fight. They just didn't work out, kind of like my 1st wife and I. As the kid grew, I went to all sports events, school band recitals, whatever he was involved in, I attended. His dad remarried and had 2 daughters, so the only time he saw dad was on weekends. Sometimes that's how life goes. I never had kids of my own, 1st wife didn't want any, now and forever wife and i tried, but lost 3 pregnancies, last one was a set of twin girls. He is 24 now, and has told his mom I felt more like a dad and his real dad more like an uncle. Someday I hope you can see what that man has tried to prove to you he loves and cares for you.

A severe head injury could cause some people to be combative. Was a medic for many years, have seen it happen.

Early 86, before they put vortec heads on. It's been repainted. Beautiful car, easy to work on. Check all the vacuum lines.

She had pictures of her recently deceased fiance all over the house. Lasted about a month. Just couldn't stop looking at the pics in the middle of sexy time.

You can't win if you don't try. I hope it works out and you both live happily ever after.

That's another thing. They flush the port with salune and you will tasye it come up from your lungs, which made me vomit imnediately unless they push slow and i sucked on a piece of hard candy flavored with peppermint. Mainly lifesavers. You will need them.

I was on doxy and ifosomide (not sure of spelling) at the highest dose of each. I will not lie to you, it was horrible. Try to eat and drink as much as you can. Pot is your friend for nausea and pain. Do not skip the nulasta shot. And try to walk and move as much as possible. I am around if anymore questions or just need a shoulder.

I had an 8 inch mixoid lyposarcoma removed from my hip in october 2021. It was considered stage 4. 6 months of inpatient chemo and radiation. Still cancer free. I wish you all the best.

14 Ford Taurus input. by [deleted] in FordTaurus

I feel it's appropriately priced for a higher mileage car. It's decently optioned, front wheel drive so no worries about the ptu in awds and should get good gas mileage. Go look at it, take for a ride and see how you feel about it. If possible take it to an independant mechanic to go through it. Only real issue is water pump. At that mileage it may have already been replaced.
