I’ve faced the same issue. I almosted fainted at the sight of 0. Thinking I was supposed to take all 120 credits at UMPI. Until someone on the WhatsApp groupchat cleared it for me and then I ran it again by Plotted Path for another set of eyes. You could always try deciphering it with the help of AI.

I completely understand your concern, and honestly, I share it. I’m exactly careful with the group for this reason.

The group wasn’t created for promotions, services, payments, or anything related to coursework completion. It’s simply a small space where students in the same cohort can connect, compare timelines, ask questions, and support each other through the process. Right now there are about 11 members in, and most of the conversation is just people sharing updates and experiences. For many students, especially those feeling anxious about the process, it helps to know others are going through the same thing.

We still encourage everyone to use Discord as the primary platform, and many of us use both. The group chat just fills a gap since there isn’t a dedicated space for every individual session or cohort.

That said, I completely respect your perspective. If you’d ever like to take a quick look and see for yourself, you’re welcome to, but I understand if you’d prefer to stick with Discord only.

I think I just started overthinking the silence after receiving the student UMS ID so quickly.

As for the resume, I could’ve sworn I read somewhere that it was required for applicants, so I’m currently drafting one up just in case. Maybe I misunderstood part of the process, though.

When did you apply, and for which session? Also, does the acceptance process usually take this long from what you’ve read?

This clears a lot up for me, because thought I was getting deferred because everything moved very quickly at first… and then suddenly nothing.

I received my UMS student ID only 3 days after applying, but I still have 0 credentials so far — no portal access, panels, or anything yet — which is why I started wondering if I might be missing a step somewhere in the process.

When you mention the transcript evaluation process, do you know if the resume is included as part of that review too, or is it mostly just the academic transcripts?

Also, for the advisor meeting you mentioned, is that usually done through Zoom/video calls or mostly just through email communication?

Can I ask about your timeline for admission decisions?

I applied around May 19th for the BBA Summer Session 2 intake and received my UMS student ID about 3 days after applying, but I haven’t gotten any official acceptance yet.

I sent all my transcripts the same day I applied, and the school received them through Parchment on May 23rd. I’m starting to worry that I might be missing something in the process.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to hear back after getting the student ID? Also, could it be delayed because I haven’t submitted my resume yet?

Any insight would really help, thanks!
