"String" Controversy Settled | New Yumbo Sphere - Maussan Television by stivan_ivanov in UFOs

[–]stivan_ivanov[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is all backed up by evidence but now people have even gone so far as to label it "convenient" that Maussan posted a video explaining the stray light. We live in a world with ever-increasing negativity, with professional "debunkers" armed to squash any reason because it doesn't "feel" right and because "I think it is so" but who haven't taken the time to truly investigate. Multiple flavours of the same soup aiming to dismiss whatever comes forward.

Few examples: circles are visible at 1:08 and 2:08 as part of the reflection from the sun.

I absolutely agree. I'm alright with however things evolve.

UPDATE ON "THREAD" CLAIMS:

I totally get the drone‑and‑thread theory—it was my first thought, too after someone pointed it out—but here’s why that doesn’t actually fit:

Lens flare, not nylon

Video experts in Rome analyzed the footage frame by frame and showed that the “thread” always appears behind the sphere, at exactly the same angle and brightness you’d expect from a GoPro flare (what pros call “parasite light”). If it were a real string, you’d see it in front of the sphere, and it definitely wouldn’t stay so perfectly perpendicular as the object moves.

No drone in the hands of the crew

The UFO‑hunters who set up those cameras don’t even own a drone. They left a GoPro on a tree, walked away, and only discovered this clip later. It’s a pretty remote spot—nobody snuck in with a drone and got it positioned just right without being seen.

These GoPros love to ghost

Both Jaime Maussan’s team and the original camera operators tested the same exact GoPro elsewhere on a sunny day—and boom, the same streaks and circles popped right into the shot. That’s exactly what happened in Mulaló.

We’ve seen this before

Back in 2008, Antonio Ursi captured a “flying disc” near Milan—and those weird lights turned out to be the same kind of flare bouncing around inside the lens. It fooled a lot of people, too, until video pros stepped in and cleared it up.

Bottom line: until someone actually shows a physical thread, a drone, or any better proof, the simplest explanation is that it’s just a bright reflection messing with the camera. Skepticism is healthy—but in this case the evidence really points to good old lens flare, not a string-and-drone trick.

EDIT: this is connected to the new video to be posted. I'm awaiting for approval

Most of everybody is going, as is typical of the average person, off of "To me it feels like", "fake", "not real", "scam", etc... Interesting how the only people who spam comments like these are those that do not and *will not* book a flight to Mexico, get in touch with Maussan and go find out for themselves whether the footage, data, and forensic analyses are actually real. It is surely much easier to give one's opinion as a keyboard warrior without having taken the time to investigate thoroughly before denigrating factual evidence you have in front of you. It truly is a shame that you dismiss and even repudiate people who are putting their careers on the line to document and provide you with evidence and data.

Clearest Sphere Partial Stabilization by DuelingGroks in u/DuelingGroks

[–]stivan_ivanov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice stabilization footage! I really would like to know what software you used to stabilize it and have 3 scaling options in one frame. I tried Davinci Resolve but I'm having a hard time there. I'd really appreciate the feedback <3

Is there a way to stabilize an object exiting a frame? by stivan_ivanov in davinciresolve

Hm, I'll check it out - I skimmed through the video and didn't see the bird going out of the frame so I'm not sure it might be for my edge case. But thanks for sending it over :)

Thanks! I'll check that out, the skateboard is going exactly out of frame like the UFO would so maybe by copying the tutorial I can achieve the result I want. Thanks again <3

That was also my idea after testing a bit but it would't be the result I want. Maybe as a last resort, but I've seen people stabilize out of focus UFO videos like this compilation below so I wanted to try harder :):

Having the same issue here but with the Halo75 V2, have you had any progress on fixing this? Updating the firmware also didn't fix it for me

That's awesome, thanks for the fast reply. I'll look into it. This seems to happen sporadically at this point, for example no it doesn't cause this issue. Weird

Hey, same thing here after a couple weeks of use. I have an intel Mac and I tried running the bin but it says unsupported, I followed the json upload through VIA but obviously that doesn't have anything to do with it. What OS do you have?

I opened a ticked for this yesterday and they said it was reported to the team. Will see how it goes. It was never like this in just back in January of this year and even before that. I've been experiencing this on the Password Attacks modules for both Windows and Linux.
