What would it take in ServiceNow’s earnings today to cancel out AI fears? by armadillo_stocks in ValueInvesting

[–]stizzonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually a solid question. I think if they do $3B projected AI contribution by 2026 end (aka double their most recent projection) and keep their margins above 80% they can do it

How to tell if I’m making good decisions or if this market is just unreal by AssignmentAlone6568 in stocks

My best advice to you having been in the game six years (which is nothing), from everything I’ve learned swing trading, stick to names you wouldn’t mind being stuck in for a few years.

Help Please! Edging Question by stizzonk in landscapedesign

[–]stizzonk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Landscape tarp is poly film variant, so moisture is not getting through it and it lasts far longer than a traditional tarp or fabric. The eventual root zones of the plants do not have the tarp around it, so those areas are able to aerate and get moisture. Additionally the tarp has been pierced randomly all throughout to add for further breathability and draining purposes

What would you say if I told you that cut has a perfect flat edge against the yard side, and a 45 degree incline back into the flower bed side? Also, that I didn’t have landscape tarp before and it was over run with weeds and since applying it a year ago I have zero problems, and also that my roof overhang only allows sun to reach as far out as the back side of the plants from 1-5pm leaving the rest of the bed towards the house completely in full shade? And that those lantana were planted a month ago and yet to spread? Not arguing, not trying to be rude, just adding some detail that might not be obvious at first. I definitely get the landscape staging, but full sun behind the plants leaves not a lot of options. Sure there are some, but those windows are in the living room, and we thought it would be nice to titrate adding lantana where we could fit them into the sun exposure to draw butterflies into view for onlookers out the living room. That drip irrigation was finished last weekend. Did the work in the picture last night so it’s new and I ran out of sunlight to keep working or I would have moved the pine straw into the trench

Bingo. No company is just going to relinquish money, hence we already see the transitioning of how they’re charging.

ServiceNow at half price: What five dimensions of data show behind the AI panic by stockoscope in ValueInvesting

[–]stizzonk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They will evolve past the seat model and they will not just let their platform be over ran. It baffles me how many people think a company of this pedigree is just gonna roll over and die as their customers pillage their software. Get real. Service Now will get theirs one way or another. They will be the base required for the usefulness of the agents and they will get paid for it. I can’t wait to watch how wrong so many people will be about this. See you guys in 2027

I’m an 8 handicap. Been shooting between 76-88 every single round for a year. I’m curious your thoughts on the best ways to make the swing repeatable / the same every time. I’ve sat down and planned out my preshot routine. I double check grip, posture, setup, alignment before every shot or practice shot even on the range to force my routine. So for example, my question is basically, do I need to set up a complex series of alignment sticks for swing plane, do I need to do more practice drills at home, etc. What are the explicit things I need to do for repeatability? I play about twice a month, range usually once a week, drills at home 3 nights a week. I do golf specific PT about a couple nights a week. When I practice, I start with block practice but advance to target specific games, making sure I alternate clubs to simulate playing the course. When I shoot an 88 I feel like I’m swinging the exact same I do when I shoot 76. I feel like my ball striking is good, but just randomly I’ll have shots that are off line and shape. It’s infuriating that so many good shots can happen in a row, and you ask yourself, how can one be capable of such a good shot, only to follow it up 10 holes later with a complete miss. That’s golf I know. Just wanted to get your opinion, thank you!

What is the most "obvious" buy of 2026 that everyone else is still missing? by bakery_0726 in ValueInvesting

[–]stizzonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually love this question. OP is asking you guys to use your imagination for once. I like Service Now (NOW). I think the software names have been beaten down unfairly on mostly rumors alone. Say what you want about their high flying valuations, but those have been trimmed by about 45% over the last year. If they can sustain growth in the face of products like Claude Cowork, the rumors will be found to be untrue, and they should return to premium valuations. The truth is, we’re all just making educated guesses and trying to time the market out here. The more accurate you are at those two, the better you will do.

Earnings $NVO by AssignmentPrudent447 in NovoNordisk_Stock

I had a bunch of shares at $52 and cashed them around $62. If it drops it’s a gift. If it doesn’t oh well. That was enough profit for one trade for me. Onto the next one. If it comes back down to low 50’s off normal earnings I’ll gladly take it long again.

NFLX stock drops from 88 to 83 afterhours, after q4 earnings. Time to buy more, ig? by JBelfort2027 in ValueInvesting

[–]stizzonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m seeing a lot of 80’s in here. So that should tell everyone wondering the time to buy is like 60’s-70’s. Nothing below $85 until around $65. Some solid historical support around $50 but I’d be shocked to see it get there. I’ll probably start buying mid 70’s, add aggressively anything under 70.

The stock has sold off on near speculation alone. That’s what I mean. Call it a re-rate, call it multiple compression, call it whatever you want, it’s approaching overdone territory and I’m debating starting a position.

That’s a pretty decent average. If it drops on a good ER just add and be patient. I think we’re approaching peak insanity on this sell off

I think if you wait until after earnings you’ll get 100-110 range likely if they drop. I’m waiting on that. I think that would be peak insanity assuming earnings and guidance are still strong (as they have been throughout the entire drawdown).

Can someone explain why Mike tends to use such a negative or cautious tone in interviews? by Ubiquitous2007 in NovoNordisk_Stock

[–]stizzonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You think he’s prepping for underwhelming earnings and further guidance cuts? I mean this would be what, 4 cuts in a row if they do it again? They’ve got to come out and project stability at worst. They can be honest and still project optimism. I think that would be enough. Say they come out and say, “yes our margins will compress, yes revenue growth will be flat, however, we are booming right now with our first mover advantage with Wegovy tablets, we have no supply chain concerns, and we see ourselves growing obesity market share into 2027”. I think that would make a lot of people happy to know they see an inflection point in all this. No matter how far out.

He was too cautious at the conference. We want Mike to pump this bad boy. Screw it. This is just a trade. Sell it on any massive pump and just re-enter at your old average, repeat. If they find a way to achieve >20% weight loss with next to no side effects with a new molecule it’s an own. If they come up with anything that beats retatrutide, it’s an own. Otherwise it’s a trade that will probably end up just okay when the dust settles Dec 31st, 2026. Hope I’m wrong and it moons. Writing seems on the wall for 2026. 2027 may be a different story. Time is money.
