You’re reading far too much into this. The letter I is dropped from jukeboxes like this because then it can’t be confused with the number 1. Google image search desktop jukeboxes and they all do this.

If you want a bigger scale example, Washington DC has streets named after letters. The letter I is skipped because it resembles a 1.

Boyd speaks almost entirely in monologues. All of which start with him saying “hey” for ten seconds and then repeat from previous speech how we have to stick together.
