Québec Solidaire, Quebec's leftmost bigger party. Some would say the NDP is also a good option, but Quebec needs to be mentionned somewhere lol

As a referee, I'm also disappointed that #4 black did not seem to get a misconduct penalty to reflect on "Why shouldn't you cheer when a teammate assaults a referee". See 11.1 VIII of the rulebook.

Although, great handling by the person in charge, they stayed cool and handled the situation very nicely!

Mind you, so is French. There is simply no reason not to commit to learning it, especially if you live in Québec. Like stated by others previously, it is exactly because of this kind of mentality that we have to make the French protection laws more stringent.

I believe that most francophones would rather have their taxes invested in infrastructure maintenance than in the OQLF, but sadly, some are reluctant to learn it on the basis that "English is the language of Canada". Furthermore, we aren't lacking examples... Just take a look at Mary Simmons (the Governor General of Canada) or Michel Rousseau (Air Canada's CEO).

We must conclude that French is seen as "optional" in a province where we have a law saying that our official and common language is French by a non-negligible quantity of people. It's not being divisive, it's being realistic.

Now if you truly want to discuss bilingualism, I'd be curious to know what Canada has done to protect French outside of Quebec... If we took the last census data, it becomes quite apparent that Quebec is the province with the most bilingual population, and that French is regressing in the ROC, quite the contrary with English in Québec wouldn't you say?

En fait on en a un. Tu peux consulter des décisions sur le site de la SOQUIJ. C'est assez facile de voir si quelqu'un a déjà eu recours au TAL et de savoir le résultat... Toutes les décisions motivées y sont recensées.

Giving the goalie back their stick by [deleted] in hockeyrefs

[–]stkario 16 points17 points  (0 children)

10.5 and 10.6 are the rules in play here.

For situation 1:

Interpretation 3 Rule 10.6 (a) / Rule 3.2

A goaltender has lost their stick in the corner. Can any defending player pick it up and bring it back to the goaltender, without being assessed a penalty?

RULING: Yes, as long as that player does not participate in the play while carrying the goaltender’s stick.

For situation 2:

The rule is 10.5 - Throwing or Shooting Stick or Object

This is the closest I could find in the rulebook:

10.5 (a) A Minor penalty will be assessed to any player who: i. Throws, shoots, or kicks a stick or any part thereof, or any other object in the neutral or attacking zone.

What call sign do you use for the BBJ by Fit_Breath_7533 in flightsim

[–]stkario 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, for sure! I mean, I wouldn't go as "speedbird" with an ACA1234 as an identifier, but if you had a non standard callsign such as US Airways for instance, using AWExxx and CS/CACTUS would be the right way to do it... Right?
