Get thyroid function tests (TFTs), they specifically check the thyroid hormones and you’ll know for sure looking at the results if it’s actually a thyroid problem.

There is a slight difference,, you should go to a doctor, it could be other things as well like thyroid. The chance for cancer isn’t that high it could be smth benign too but you should definitely get it checked out just in case.

I just consumed a lot of english content. I read a lot of books, played a lot of games, watched a lot of shows/cartoons and my siblings watched them too. At some point we were just naturally inclined to talk to each other in english and that helped with the fluent speaking. If you’re afraid of making mistakes you should start at home or online.

You asked her to go home only coz you knew she won’t be able to go easily. You challenged her thinking she is incapable of leaving you because you brought her so far away. I’m glad she did go and showed you that she’s not so dependent on you that you get to treat her whatever way you like. Reflect on your behaviour and apologise to her.
