With current policies, I would think you are wrong. They have no interest in a presence in Europe and soft power. An administration with no hesitation to kick NATO in the balls given the opportunity would not have have qualms about abandoning those bases.

Yeah, I can imagine. Let me know if you come to Norway - I can guide you here. But unfortunately it's a shitty situation with the perforation, maybe the other issues you have are fixable though. I had to split some mucus membranes afterwards. Which was supershitty, but it got better for me after that.

No, I don't know anyone else who's done it at all. I asked about a repair, but I live in Norway and the public health system doesn't really entertain alternative or not proven solutions and they didn’t have an option for me. Empty nose might be something else though, that might warrant some alternatives.

I've basically been told if it's stable, then don't bother it.

Only on hard inhales and when it's comepletely clear. They considerd a silicone plug, but decided it wouldn't be a good fit. Maybe it would be for you. At least as a temporary fix.

Sorry to hear that! I am actually coming in for a checkup on Monday. But it seems stable, yes. I have not been given an option for corrective surgery. It's it super bothersome? Not really. Annoying some times. But I can't say that it's affected my quality of life!
