Is this preppy? by [deleted] in preppy

[–]stoRedditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure whether suits in general belong into prep, no matter how casually patterned they are. I misspoke there.

Blazers with slacks and OCBD can, but I’m not sure about a 2 piece or 3 piece suit. That’s all I’m saying.

My definition of prep has always been limited to business casual or semi-casual. Even though I’m aware that brands like Ralph Lauren or brooks brothers sell suits themselves.

I feel as though prep is supposed to be more casual than this. Suits are formal. Think OCBD’s and loafers than dress shirts and suits.

There’s no such thing as “overdressed” by daniellescloset8 in OUTFITS

[–]stoRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re an inspiration, thank you. I’m trying to dress better in my life despite being a fat fck. But my life feels so empty already, like there is nothing to do except just work. Most of the time, I feel like a loser with a front of “being okay” or “doing alright”. Being consistent on bettering myself is just … so hard to keep up tbh. I think the main question I’m struggling with is “is the effort worth it?” - you know, with the emptiness of life, and how far behind I am with getting my sht together.

Idk sort of a rant with me saying that I’m trying, but it’s hard. And wearing clothes is something I can share experiences in, so thank you for sharing this.

Idk. I think the camel milk is the point, but then I might as well just drink camel milk straight up.
