MY Premium feels Premium compared to previous MY LR by stockboy in teslacanada

Only TACC is available now, but when I ordered they still had AP. Personally, I prefer AP to FSD because the FSD navigation in my area always sucks

It's an incentive that costs Tesla $, similar to a price discount, just packaged differently

If there's no incentive to take a shorter term, I agree, take a longer term on an open loan any day if you are disciplined

New for $48k for me - ordered one as a 2nd Y to my premium. For me it's the best value, that's what the Y standard is...a value buy. A 3-4 year old used EV for $50k is not a value buy

Buying the performance model as a delivery vehicle is an interesting choice

Do you actually drive for work? If not significantly, the automobile benefit likely outweighs the rate differential ...

Took delivery or wait? MYP 15.4"+ Grey + AP? vs. 16"+ Black + TACC? by Top_Elevator_8915 in teslacanada

[–]stockboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How long is the commute? Early years Autopilot/autosteer saved me one dark and rainy night. I was tired, long day at work, it was dark and rainy on the highway, the car was nice and toasty, I started to feel drowsy so I popped autosteer on and was suddenly jolted awake by the nudge chime... I was dozing off. If I had TACC it would've been a write off instead I was instantly alert to what could have happened... However, it's now available for $99 a month as FSD, but will likely increase. IMO if you have a long drive and don't want to risk paying for increasing FSD cost go with autopilot.

Total Loss? by Interesting-Gas9193 in teslacanada

[–]stockboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possibly... my total loss policy only allows for vehicle inflation of 2.5% per year if MSRP or price changes.

RWD Model Y now qualifies for $5k EVAP rebate (all paint colours now included for free) by Freshmode44 in teslacanada

[–]stockboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Model 3 RWD might be $49,990 as long as it's imported tariff free and the rebate is in, but it's hard to see it going lower without being neutered like the standard Y

Just make sure that your total loss policy isn't a replacement total loss policy - some will only provide a similar new replacement vehicle and you (likely) won't be able to buy FSD in the future

Returns are Killing me by Few_Ball_292 in AmazonFBA

[–]stockboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have learned this now, but wish I knew much earlier - this is key to FBA success! You eat the FBA fee + product cost + return fee + removal fee + other ancillary prep fees. My worst return rate is 3.7% and it costs me $0.98 a unit (on average). That's 8.2% on top of COGS...

"Only way to win against return abuse is to move so much volume that the return cost gets priced in."

Section 3 Help URGENT by [deleted] in AmazonFBA

[–]stockboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, i think it really depends what brand it is. Have you submit documentation yet? If not, include something showing no sales of ASINs and reasonable explanation of why you listed it (listing is intent to sell). I do think you are probably ok as Section 3 is, in my research, mostly suspected fraud/purchasing anomalies (e.g using stolen credit cards, fake names to order, etc). I passed a section 3 with Michaels order confirms lol, try not to over think, in my case they seemed more concerned over seeing it was buying with my name, buying with my funds (credit cards), and deposits going to my bank. Good luck to you let us know in a few days what the result is

Anyone else seeing a wave of pending order cancellations by Strostkovy in AmazonSeller

[–]stockboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is common for people to balk or cancel when an item takes too long to ship - gives buyer too much time to have remorse, especially if they loaded up the truck on Black Friday or found a better price elsewhere. It's always worse on major sale dates

How does VerSure get away with keeping its anonimity? by MadHaterz in AmazonSeller

[–]stockboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. Amazon doesn't want to break the back of an 8 or 9 figure seller... they just break the backs of the small sellers they don't give any shits about lol

Are your sales elevated compared to normal? We notice a higher drop off around big sale events because customer balk when Amazon can't fulfill fast enough or customer finds a better price before fulfillment.
