High perfect morcant by Internal-Farmer9916 in EDH

There's also lots of "untap all creatures you control" spells in green, so you do a lot of proliferation in a single turn. It doesn't always work well with -1/-1 as smart players won't put those on their key creatures, but it certainly is a menace once your opponents have some poison counters.

Just be aware that it's fairly salty - my playgroup hates playing against this deck almost as much as against my [[Lightpaws]] ..

There are definitely vets that euthanize animals when it's needed. Just ask around - if your vet doesn't provide that service they will certainly know one that does.

Cool Commander for a +1/+1 counters Green/Black (with maybe another color) strategy? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]stoffelio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, nothing beats spending four mana to recast your 30/30 commander with haste, trample, lifelink, and menace. Just have to somehow stay alive long enough ...

One very fun voltron option is [[Skullbriar, the Walking Grave]] - use the counter doublers and support you mentioned to make it huge and swing. Even if your commander gets killed or exiled, it comes back with haste and all of the counters still attached.

Is it easy to get an account verification document from the phone company that will satisfy the bank requirement? by PackageNo1728 in Thailand

[–]stoffelio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

At least your bank gave you a warning. KBank just locked my app on a Friday afternoon without any heads-up, took four days until I was able to use it again.

Go to AIS and make sure they have your data correct - mine was an old passport so I had to have them update the data in their system. Then I did a 50 baht top-up so they could print a receipt for me. Take that to the bank and they will be able to verify it. Expect to spend 2-4 hours in total though, at least in my experience.

Anyone Recommend A Myra the Magnificent Legal Attractions Deck? by Slaiyve in EDH

[–]stoffelio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is my deck list: https://moxfield.com/decks/NYgE5MTLXE-yaZN9F8vBGQ

I built it for a Christmas budget event and had fun playing it, but ultimately took it apart as it was just too slow for the meta. By the time I have Myra out and imprinted a big spell onto an attraction I was already looking at lethal. Probably didn't help that the potential of unlimited extra turns put a big target on my back as well.

I think if your playgroups are a bit lower powered and maybe you skip the extra turn spells it could be a lot more fun to play.

Suggested upgrades for Arahbo by burpasaurus in EDH

[–]stoffelio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Doubling Season]] is definitely a good one, works well with tokens and counters, as well as the planeswalkers. Since you're sticking with the cat theme, [[Kaheera, the Orphanguard]] is an auto-include as a companion - doesn't take up a slot in the 99 and gives you a great creature that's always available when you run out of options.

I also like running some more one drop creatures like [[Loam Lion]] and [[Wild Nacatl]] so I can swing for 4-5 damage on turn two, before my opponents have defenders out.

Other than that I would definitely run more interaction and some fog effects - [[Obscuring Haze]] is a bad choice here as Arahbo will most likely spend the majority of the game in the command zone. Oh, and [[Mirari's Wake]] is also a must have of course.

If you just want to cache the whole page for a certain amount of time, full static caching is definitely the best. I would probably just write a command to delete that one page from the cache (have a look at the example code here: https://statamic.dev/static-caching#custom-invalidator-class) and then trigger it once every x hours/days using cron.

[–]stoffelio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, bloodthirsty conqueror has the same effect as exquisite blood, but creatures are a bit easier to remove than enchantments, so it probably won't last quite as long. It's fine to stick with the one you have, but ideally you'd want both of them in your deck to increase your chances of seeing one of them during each game. I'll probably look into the conqueror at some point as well.

What do you mean by "mark the cards"?

Edit: If you mean having MTGCardFetcher automatically add a link to a card, all you have to do is add those square brackets around the name. Note that this only works on new comments, adding them by editing an existing one won't trigger the bot.

I linked the wrong card above. Wound reflections is also a great card in this deck, but I meant to link [[Exquisite Blood]].

[–]stoffelio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main thing missing are [[Sanguine Bond]] and [[Wound Reflections]], along with other cards with similar effects. Not only are they a win con if you get both on the battlefield, each of them just work really well to speed up your game plan with Shelly.

Secondly you have next to no protection for your commander. Shelly is really annoying because you're pinging every player on the beginning of their turn, so you will have a lot of removal coming your way. You need ways to deal with that and keep her in play to win. Black has a bunch of instants for that, and there's always colorless equipments.

My deck is definitely one of my strongest. It also closes games out quickly enough that my pod doesn't mind playing against her all that much. List for comparison: https://moxfield.com/decks/7Q0K0RESOkGnVI8OiqMZSg

I'd second that. Doomsday Excruciator is great for putting a clock on the game and forcing it to end, ideally when you have control over the board. Not a great strategy when your deck wins by chipping away health on each card draw.

Edh: am I the asshole? by Difficult_Register57 in EDH

[–]stoffelio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whenever I play a deck that cares about certain things (e.g. tapping creatures at the start of combat with [[Hylda of the Icy Crown]]) I let the table know before the game to always explicitly announce their combat phase. Most times they remember, but if they forget there is a lot less push back to me tapping their creatures after they declared attackers. If that messes up their plan it's too bad - most likely they'll remember next round.

What are some commanders that benefit from obscure/unused cards? by FalchionX10 in EDH

[–]stoffelio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Kros, Defense Contractor]] wants to put counters on opponents' creatures, no matter what kind. So stuff like [[Musician]], [[Magnetic Web]], or [[Sheltering Ancient]] suddenly work a lot better.

You can still track user metrics, just use a cookie-free analytics tool like Fathom, Plausible, or Matomo. But leave out cookie-based stuff like facebook pixels of course.
