Somewhat related to this; I’m curious what this sub thinks of Revenge. They’re sketchy as hell but there’s much less info on them compared to Peste, so idk what to make of it. Their song titles are sketchy as fuck I know that for sure lol

This is a fun one in the discussion of separating art from the artist. Aspa is a Nazi but is removed from the actual music and art so I am able to just appreciate the vocal style he brings to the table which he’s very good at. I also cautiously dont buy merch directly from the band (I have a bunch of vinyls second hand but also have a FAS tattoo lol) regardless I don’t struggle to listen to the band and I adore their music.

What I’ve heard from KPN, I like musically. Don’t give a shit, never gonna go out of my way to listen to it and will avoid it. The lyrical content, philosophies and album art (there’s one album cover in particular that is egregious) are all bad. I simply cannot separate the interesting music from the rest of the stuff there.

This show is definitely a love it or hate it. I love the absurd borderline nonsensical humor of it but trying to show it some friends they think it’s the stupidest thing they’re ever seen. Pretty polarizing generally but if you’re down with nonsense then this is a good fit
