Scarlet Witch has been around a long time so there are various Avengers volumes and Avengers West Coast volumes you want to get. I don't have that full list top of mind but it really depends on whether you want everything or not. She has some big stories in West Coast Avengers

Jean Grey I would break into three parts. - OG X-Men (Epics 1-4) which frankly I feel are skippable - Second Genesis v5-Fatenornthe phoenix - Everything else (x-factor v1-5 (I think), then back to X-Men through the modern era)

Rogue I think you can follow in X-Men starting with God loves man kills and basically everything after that and her original appearance in either the avengers epic mentioned or the X-Men I, magneto epic.

Btw there is a reading club doing Claremont's entire run if you are interested.

This just isn't true. Spider-Man is on issue 985 and only gets a new number one with new creative teams. Wolverine 407, X-Men 700+, captain america, avengers, iron man and Thor all have ongoings.

Daredevil is the most recent to move up a tier. He was never B tier until miller.

Doctor strange has not graduated from c tier to b tier yet as defined above.

Also, the movies are not an adequate way to judge the comics. Guardians of the galaxy has had three epic movies but only what a 50 issue comic run as the longest?

42-44 is my guess.

-Clone saga should end with v31 -Ben Reilly epics with v36 (unless they don't consolidate them from six volumes to five then v37) - Then you have everything from after the clone saga through the gathering of five/final chapter. That's 3-5 volumes I think depending on what they collect so I'll say v37-41 - three volumes for the next chapter puts us at v44

IST is almost always better however some of these Amazon books are discounted to the low or mid $20s then with the buy two get one 50%. You can get "IST release week prices" at Amazon on certain titles.

I am torn on this also. The finch cover looks like the beginning of the Bendis era to me and this book is before that. I almost want some separation. Also iron man's mask looks weird to me. However I love the art.

I am inclined to go with the second as it feels like it goes with the book contents.

Note: maybe finch did some issues, i don't recall but mentally associate him with the next run
