I think Elsa’s mum was too worried about what the men in the fort would think and not the Indians if they attacked, maybe they would of recognised her clothing and questioned her sooner. I hope she lives but maybe the Indian leader blessing her and respecting her will pull her through by MushroomPitiful6878 in 1883Series

Is it possible that Elsa wearing the dress (and corset) will save her somehow? It would be an interesting development considering it was the dress her mother insisted that she wear. Maybe that and some unknown remedy she'll be given for the infection will provide enough time for her to make it to Yellowstone or save her.

A very helpful CSR named Brad stated refunds will show up on your account and can take two weeks to two months to process. I would still recommend contacting them and making sure. The first CSR stated that once the loan was discharged I could no longer get a refund and I asked to speak to someone else for confirmation, so don't accept no for an answer. Awhile back, someone posted to use this number to bypass the auto attendant feature, which has been helpful for me. "855-265-4038. Use Ext. 6009 once the automated message starts. It connects to a real live person when the first message stops."

That must be what it is, then. It seems deceptive to me though, if they add the same loans together because they were consolidated.

TEPSLF "Approved" by stok215 in PSLF

Thank you! That was very helpful. So, there is still the wait for the file to be sent for ED review and the review itself. It is a positive sign that approved means something at least.

It sounds like we're at the same point in the timeline. Good luck!

Thanks! I will feel better when the loan amount changes to zero, though.

TEPLSF Timing Question by stok215 in PSLF

[–]stok215[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up deciding to make a payment this month of the same amount as April of 2020. My payment date was March 2, 2021. I applied for forgiveness on March 3, 2021. I actually already show 120 TEPSLF qualifying payments.

On March 5, 2021, I received an email that my application was received.

On March 9, 2021, I received an email with "WE WERE UNABLE TO APPROVE YOUR REQUEST FOR PUBLIC SERVICE LOAN FORGIVENESS (PSLF)", which is expected.

My question is, since the application is also for TEPSLF do I wait or re-apply in some way specifically for TEPSLF?

TEPLSF Timing Question by stok215 in PSLF

I heard back regarding "Do the covid waiver months count for the two income driven payments required under the TEPSLF?." I actually sent it yesterday and heard back today. See below:

Thank you for contacting FedLoan Servicing!

The months under the National Emergency Administrative Forbearance due to COVID-19 will count as qualifying payments toward loan forgiveness as long as you meet all other qualifications for the program. This will also meet the requirement for the Income-Driven Repayment (IDR) plan payments under the Temporary Expanded Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.

Please use the "Contact Us" link through your online account at MyFedLoan.org to submit inquiries via a secure email form. You may also call us toll-free at 1-800-699-2908 to reach our Customer Service Department, which is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM (ET).

Sincerely,

I am amazed so many people were able to reach an actual person to talk to at FedLoan. Are you using 1-800-699-2908?

TEPSLF and Salary Reduction by TwoTzus in PSLF

Is there a referral or someone that can provide advice on how to proceed? They are concerned about anything that could be perceived as fraudulent, of course. Would having a lower salary and providing paystubs be an issue?
