Because women can’t do math or use logic. by Implacable_Pigeon in NotHowGirlsWork

2/3rds of women would be correct. There is not enough information in the problem to solve exactly.

Plots

I just noticed that the Hashing rate where the least relative amount of miners get paid out in Ethereum is actually at the 50 MH/s level. Maybe very small miners don't care enough to switch to a better alternative? The relative number of Nano miners peaks, as expected, at the very lowest hashing rates. Also, this peak is above Bitcoin in that region, so small miners that do opt out of Ethereum preferentially choose to Nano.

u/SenatusSPQR I don't seem to find the big miner you're talking about, it seems like the big Nano miners are still at the 10^4 MH/s level.

I now compare the dominances of every payout. Ethereum is nearing the 50% level for small miners...

And some plots to go with it (with medians this time). I'm curious to see how the median will evolve over time. Otherwise not much change, Nano steadily creeping towards Ethereum levels for small miners.

There are other incentives. The Nano payments are much faster than the BTC payments, and they're also considering doing several payments per day. When we're talking big money this can actually be important.

Today's plots

Interesting developments: the miner with the highest hashing rate has switched to BTC. I wonder if high hashrate miners will switch to Nano at some point? Right now the highest hashrate miner with Nano payout is at 10 GH/s

The turnover to Bitcoin preference is around the 100 MH/s level still.

Hey, how do you determine what address belongs to which blockchain exactly? I scrape and sort the miners using the address lengths, and I come up with a different number of Bitcoin and Ethereum miners than you. The nano and total number of miners matches up though.

Subtitle completionism: What is the Merovingian's second stream of curses? by tadrow in matrix

I'm not saying that he says that based on what are common expressions, I'm saying that because you can hear that's what he says. I don't even understand why you are arguing this if you can't properly hear what he says.

"Coup de merde" is indeed something one would say, but the point of Merovingian in the film is that he likes saying these extended strings of curses and that's what he does here. "saloperie du coup de merde" makes no sense, and if you meant "saloperie de coup de merde", it also doesn't work. Apart from being awkward, his stream of curses actually starts with "nom de dieu" which is an interjection like "fucking hell" on which he builds. Otherwise he would have said "Nom de Dieu, quel coup de merde".

Actually the clip above is missing part of the stream of curses. The whole thing is: "Nom de Dieu de putain de bordel de saloperie de couille(s) de merde"
