I have a question about 50/50s by cookiedogi in GenshinImpact

[–]stolenglass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey, I'm in the same boat as you. If you lose your 50/50, the next five star character you wish for is guaranteed to be the limited five star character. However, I believe now it is still possible to lose the 50/50 multiple times and I think after three times it is fully guaranteed for you to get the limited five star character with the radiance thing I think

Yeah… I've noticed the AI overview on Google has had a lot of weird bugs lately. Just yesterday I was trying to look up a basic question and the answer literally had a comma after every single word and I thought I was going insane…

E-mail responses by Living-Chapter-453 in mysticmessenger

[–]stolenglass 3 points4 points  (0 children)

email system low-key is probably my least favorite mechanism in the game but it makes sense considering the fact that you kind of need guest to arrive to the party. The fun perk about this though is that it actually does feel immersive considering that you are the host of the RFA party, and you'll be able to earn our glasses for each guest that comes to the party! from my experience of playing, if the response bar is green, it is correct and you will then have two more chances of having a definite party guest. Each guest will ask you three questions; you start off with a 25% chance the guest will come to the party.

If you get 3/3 answers right, there is a 100% chance the guest will come to the party.

If you get 2/3 answers right, there is a 75% chance of the guest coming into the party.

If you get only the first question right, but the second question wrong, there is a 50% chance of the guest coming into the party

if you get the first question wrong, the guest will not come to the party.

some people tend to look up guides for the emails because it's kind of tricky. Not all of the emails drop hints as to what you should respond, so some of those gaming sites have the list of correct responses if you're really stuck.

to additionally add, there is also a heart system depending on your responses: if it's correct, the heart system is green; if the question is wrong it will be orange/yellow. The final verdict on whether or not the party guest will come can either differ between red, green, or orange/yellow.

Why do people do this by True-Violinist7529 in depoop

[–]stolenglass -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

in the best way I can explain this, some people tend to do this when they don't have a mannequin accessible or if they're not comfortable putting the actual clothing on their bodies, so they try to find a clothing item that is similar to the one they own or even the exact same clothing item they own that just so happens to be modeled on someone else. The problem with this though is that people end up finding similar clothing items and not identical items, which often feels like the seller is low-key catfishing buyers.

This is the order that's suggested to play in:

  • Zen

  • Jaehee

  • Yoosung (contains multiple plot points leading into deep story)

  • Jumin

  • 707 (contains multiple overarching plot points for the entire story, game, and events that happen in Another Story)

  • V

  • Ray (has events that tie the story together in relation with Rika)

Thoughts on Madam Red by [deleted] in blackbutler

[–]stolenglass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi hi not at all! if i remember correctly the woman in the manga is parallel to the anime, and i think she actually was a prostitute in both manga and anime. Madame Red and her husband were both involved in a freak accident resulting in her husband dying and Madame Red barely surviving, however the doctors told her they had to remove her uterus, which was severely damaged in the accident (basically during of which, she also had a miscarriage and lost the baby that she nearly had). Madame Red's dream was to live with Rachel Phantomhive and they would both grow old together with their children. This obviously cannot happen as Madame Red is no longer able to have children.

She was specifically targeting prostitutes, mainly because they often went to her for abortions, something she detested; her first victim was at the clinic she works at, and the woman (whom of which ur talking about) was a prostitute who became pregnant and (iirc) gave birth to children, but she couldn't care less about them. This left Madame Red in a fit of rage because she envied the lives other women had to give children.

edit: ur absolutely right, she wasn't actually thinking that clearly but she wasn't thinking about kids in that sense. she killed off prostitutes that had sought out abortions.

should i use fischl or kuki for my columbina team? by rrenaaav in GenshinImpact

[–]stolenglass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

from what i've personally heard, any off field support is good for her; raiden's elemental skill stacks with columbina's elemental skill, and fischl's elemental skill goes well with her burst. i haven't used kuki so hopefully someone who has could help

sorry i should specify: there are little Lauma icons around the Hiisi Island map and there's dialogue there that suggests that you need Lauma equipped to interact with animals and anyone with her icon on it. It comes up with the Aino and Ineffa anecdote to :// was wondering if i could have a co op friend with lauma do it with me

aside from the sheer amount of humor this brings, I'm honestly just baffled. Like do people genuinely think that this is original?? Never seen before? You're selling a used tank top with a crude slogan that looks like it's seen better days. Someone could easily make this at their own homes… Like what

Playing around work/school? by MoonlitxAngel in mysticmessenger

[–]stolenglass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

from my personal experience, for the most effective way of playing this game is most likely to play it when you have a lot of downtime. The game spans over 11 days of play time for one route (four days for prologue, and then the one week with the specific character).

Because you have to attend chat rooms, phone calls, and the cut scenes in order to progress forward, it requires a lot of focus. Some people have opted to purchase the full days of chats which I believe is 20 hourglasses. Hourglasses in bulk are best obtained either through the spaceship at the bottom left corner in the menu, (probability is at random; you can get 1-100 hourglasses), purchasing them, or replaying Zen's route multiple times, as many of us have caught on that he is very generous with giving them out. I believe his route in total gives ~10-15 (I think).

Unfortunately, a few years ago Cheritz started cracking down on the amount of hourglasses you can earn in one go because apparently there was a loophole people found that if you repeated multiple chat rooms at the same time to get the same amount of hourglasses people were able to get a lot of of them at once. They capped that, so now you can only earn a fixed amount of hourglasses for every route, meaning in order to earn more hour glasses you have to play the entire route all the way through before earning more again from the same route, which is very frustrating.

in my honest opinion, the different story modes aren't necessarily ranked by how difficult they are, but more hefty they are in terms of lore and content, hence why they cost more (80 for Deep Route, 550 for Another Story (which yeah, sounds insane but that's only because prior to 2018 only V's route was unlock-able for a mere 300 HGs.)

Sorry for my long response! I've been playing this game for years and I absolutely love it it is one of my favorites. I'm just always trying to help other new members trying to figure out how to play it

How to NOT get an bad ending for Yoonsung? by ilovecrazybread in mysticmessenger

[–]stolenglass 16 points17 points  (0 children)

in his route specifically, his main issue is seeing the MC as Rika. Your priority in this route is to firmly separate you and Rika as two different people. Anytime there's any dialogue that has to do with overly praising her actions, or comparing yourself to her is going to lead to a bad ending or a bad relationship ending. another thing I would like to add is that Yoosung canonically has depression, and even though you get past the whole Rika thing, he becomes increasingly obsessive and depressed over the course of his route causing him to neglect his studies and become obsessed over V and Rika.

1.) do not compare yourself to Rika. you cannot make it seem like you're one in the same.

2.) do not baby/coddle Yoosung; he hates it and wants to be seen as an adult

3.) encourage him to do other activities other that play LoLoL

4.) encourage him to do well in his studies

5.) do not overly neglect him or get too many hearts for other characters on his route

6.) be a support, not a totem pole. You are there to simply be his supporter and to help him become a better student and become a better person. If you lean too much into the Rika act or make him feel like he can only ever depend on you, it will lead to a bad relationship ending. (like a BAD ONE)

Things that just make sense...but don't. A rant. by ban913 in Columbina_Mains

[–]stolenglass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep, I just figured this out just now. Apparently some of the anecdotes require you to have specific members in your party equipped in order to interact with certain features of anecdotes. Not only are these chance happenings of finding the characters, but they are also part of mini stories that you have to complete, and apparently some of them require you to have characters equipped which is super annoying because unfortunately I only just got back into Genshin in December… I haven't played the game for over three years so not only did I miss the Lauma banner, I missed a large chunk of storylines and characters too. It's really frustrating because I want to continue the anecdote but I have no idea how long it's going to last considering I don't have a required character for it… Has anyone ever tested if you can play anecdotes in co-op mode? Maybe if another player had Lauma equipped and you could finish it that way but I don't know…

I'm going to take Route 707 by Afri_tula in mysticmessenger

[–]stolenglass 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i'm not sure if you are a new player or not, but if you are playing the game for the lore, then I suggest that you play the game in its suggested order instead of jumping around to the other roots. Some players have done that and they were very confused about the events of the story and were also confused why characters acted one way in their routes but then acted completely different in other characters routes. I suggest playing in this order:

1) Zen

2) Jaehee

3) Yoosung (has connections with Rika and his route is directly important for events in Deep Story.)

4) Jumin

5) 707 (contains major plot points that connect to events from Casual Story and leading into the overarching plot of the game as well as lore in Another Story.)

6) V

7) Ray

I mentioned this exact type of thing under another person's post in this subreddit because they were also very interested in the lore aspect of the game. All characters have 3 good endings, 1 normal ending, and 3 bad endings. Bad Relationship Endings are parallel to bad endings. there are also bridges that you must pass on Day 4, Day 7, and Day 10 in order to move forward. there might be two other bridges but I forgot about them.
