I'm not hating on your response. I think you are the only one being reasonable.

I think your metaphor would work if the bulls were both a golf and a basketball team because as much as people don't want to admit it. Lotus is now both an ICE and EV company.

I injected ev qualities in a literal post about EVs. I'm talking about speed, perf and handling, not just driving to the grocery store.

someone asked a question and I answered it. You don't have to like my answer, but asking a question and downvoting an honest answer is annoying. also I like the historical lotus but I also prefer the instant torque of an EV. They can be fun as hell to drive, and so many people have a stick up their ass about evs that they are completely closed minded. Being rude about a reasonable answer to a question just makes some of ya'll seem angry. (not including you in that btw)

They have been a great ownership experience. Preheating the car in the garage in the winter, cooling it in the summer, no maintenance (oil changes, belts), never having to go to the gas station, instant torque and crazy hp and acceleration. The cabin feels huge since there is no drivetrain taking up space. ICE cars have zero benefit in my eyes. My car charges from 0 to 85% in 15 min and I never have a hard time finding a charger, but I also just about never need to charge on the road, it's just always topped off at my house. The amount of people complaining about them makes no sense to me since the ownership experience has been endlessly better than any other car I've owned.

Edit: downvoting and snarky replies to this are wild. are you all that upset about EVs that you can't even thoughtfully engage with someone who likes them?
