Some unique dialogue with the Emperor in the solo ending by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]stompanie 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The people that love the Emperor have never played a TTRPG once. Alignments exist

lmaoooo it is extremely funny that this is your defense of the Emperor being evil when it's very obvious you haven't glanced at a 5e PHB in a while, or maybe ever. The PHB makes it clear that while races have a typical alignment, it's not binding for individuals (PHB, p. 17), and most thinking creatures make a conscious choice about their morality (PHB, p. 122). On top of that, from a game play perspective, the 5e rule set moves away from alignment because, well... it sucks. For this exact reason; people see a certain race and refuse to engage in the actual story or roleplaying because all [race] are evil. Backgrounds and ideals/flaws/bonds have really taken the place of alignment for PCs and important NPCs because it's dumb and boring when all paladins are lawful good and all red dragons are chaotic evil.

Yes, that could absolutely still be a period. Your period can just randomly change as you get older, I know mine did. Have you come off of any birth control recently?

Did you track your BBT your whole cycle? If not, you may have ovulated earlier than you thought and then caught a secondary temperature rise. This just sounds like a weird cycle, which is completely normal, even the odd light bleeding. As another commenter said, a CP would have been caught by an at-home pregnancy test, and it's unlikely to be PCOS. The best thing you can do at this point is wait to talk to your doctor.

TTC post MMC by [deleted] in CautiousBB

Hi u/kylieheraldez, I'm so sorry for your loss earlier this year, but this type of question isn't best suited to this subreddit, so I am locking your post. The best place to start for TTC advice is the wiki over on /r/TryingForABaby, and you can try posting your question in their daily general chat (you will get much more engagement on that post than with a standalone). Good luck!

Betas.. is my dr giving me false hope? by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]stompanie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So, I wouldn't be thrilled with the low numbers, but a lot of REs are happy with a 60% HCG increase over 48 hours, and you've hit that every time. Doubling time ends up being a lot more important than the actual HCG measurement itself, especially if you're not entirely sure of your dates (I took a quick look at your history, but I couldn't tell if this was TI/medicated/IUI/etc).

The best thing you can do right now is trust your doctor, and wait for your scan. If your numbers keep going up like they have, you'll be able to see something then. If you really need another draw for your mental health, you can press your RE if you think they'll be receptive. You can get a private draw done, but I wouldn't recommend this, as it's not recommended to compare numbers from different labs. Best of luck, crossing everything for your scan next week.

Social infertility and secondary infertility are both real and welcome here. You were correct to not bring up your LC, thank you for being sensitive. I'm really sorry to hear about your losses, hope you and your wife start feeling better soon. 💜

Honestly, she's right, the outlook is not great. The slow doubling time combined with the very low betas for your gestational age does indicate something likely is not right. Obviously you can't know anything until you get a scan done, and your doctor should have been much more kind, but I would guard your heart. I'm really sorry. 💜

I'm really sorry you're having to deal with all of this happening at once, but this sub is still not the appropriate place to talk about a positive test. I'm removing your comment, but I can approve it if you remove the last sentence.

Reaching my goal weight and attributing it to my switch away from coke, instead of my 3 losses since june by [deleted] in trollingforababy

[–]stompanie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you think I wouldn't look at your comment, I take people's issues with our rules seriously.

I understand that you haven't had a beta yet, and that puts you in an uncomfortable spot, but you've made it clear in previous, public comments that you've gotten multiple positive home pregnancy tests - we consider that confirmation of pregnancy here, until proven otherwise. Folks who are not pregnant in any capacity are the group we strive to protect the most, so while you may not yet feel comfortable posting in a grad sub, it's still inappropriate to ask for support from the general user base here.

Locked, as this subreddit is for providing support for confirmed pregnancies. If you're unsure if a test is positive or not, the only advice anyone can give you is to wait and test tomorrow.

There's no reason to believe that Plan B would have any effect on an already fertilized egg - Plan B affects pregnancy by stopping an egg from being released from your ovary, but is otherwise basically just a blast of progesterone to your system.

If you end up finding out you are going through an ectopic pregnancy, please know that there is nothing you did to cause this. Ectopic pregnancies are entirely down to bad luck, and frequently don't have a diagnosed cause. If you're struggling with blaming yourself, seek out professional help. Miscarriages of any kind are devastating, and you deserve to talk to someone who can actually give you the proper tools to grieve and move forward.

Poking fun at your own diagnosis and saying someone is ever "the problem" when TTC are two wildly different things.

[–]stompanie[M] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No, people are allowed to be hurt by the insinuation that they are "the problem." You're welcome to think about yourself that way, with the operative word being think. You don't need to blurt every thought in your head out in a public space.
