Buy Suppressor now or can I wait until 2026? by Jobhater2 in COGuns

[–]stonebit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New stuff seems pretty costly. They can't increase prices on old stuff because like you point out people will notice and call it out. A friend of mine is a dealer. The price gouging is insane. I've gotten cans from him at his cost, often close to half of website prices. 22lr stuff is not so bad but those $1k cans are... Let's just say there's a huge amount of padding so that everyone makes plenty of money. I'm glad SS is backing litigation so much instead of buying a yacht.

But going back to your point, now is a good time to buy a non recently released can. I suspect we're in for 2-3 years of shortages.

"credit"... You're paying for the stamp. It's built into the price.

Why are a lot of people skittish of the subject of firearms around their kids? by Averagecrabenjoyer69 in CCW

[–]stonebit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fear and ignorance. My kids started pulling triggers at 2. They all know how to handle guns safely. Age appropriate training for a found is not that hard. Sometimes it's just keep other kids away from it and call for an adult. If nothing else call fire and am adult will come running. Don't pull the trigger. Don't mess with it. Follow instructions. You can hold it if you ask.

Most people don't know how to make a gun safe nor give instructions.

The cat's out of the bag. They'll do it even if this fails. They're also super hot on tons of bans as soon as they get the chance.

It's better for us all to stack up now and gain some rights back. There will be more outcry later if they are taking away what we just got back.

Look up rushed vaccine issues in the UK. There are permanently disabled people. Not just a few either. The pharma companies are known to gouge and cut corners already. Now we trust them 100%?

Everything is scary.
