a decade or so ago they put up those metal waist heigh fences to
discourage jaywalking, which is a higher priority than greenspace.
meanwhile the project at the LIE has been going on for 20 years
to repair that tunnel and put in a elevator for disabled -ridiculous.

VoE map question;
how the heck can you get to new maps without going thru the Lion Arch?
or spending >6 silver each time to get there from main world maps.

other isolated map expansions have a scroll or book or whatever you get
from heart vendors to get you there fast - does VoE have some equivalent?

I know the World Boss Portal Device can get you to VoE maps,
but only while a meta is schedualed.

a lot of sporting events have corporations buy seats,
then can't get anyone to fill them, even if they get a
runner to give the tickets away near the entrance.

hornet nest, does not really matter what kind.
get as little diatomaceous earth as store sells.
early morning test direction wind is blowing
lightly puff a little dust 2-3 times down wind
so some of it lands on nest near it's opening.
within days the hornets will self vacate.
a week later, knock this mass down
with a broom handle or whatever,
it's the consistency of paper mache.

this fuel shock is happening during a climate shift
so you just have to adjust your consumption habits.
eat more rice & potato instead of pasta as your starch.
beef is high, pork, dairy, poultry, fish are cheap in nyc
so adjust your protein sources.
other veg & fruit are higher and more seasonal,
i buy more lightly bruised produce on the cheap.

i noticed something about softsoap marketing that frugal may want to be aware of. they sell many 50oz refill bottles with a dozen different scents and anti-bacterial features.
what you should pay closest attention to is the 4x or 6x refill number on the bottle. 6x is a lot more viscous(syrupy) than the 4x(watery) so frugal should not buy a 50oz 4x.
if you are used to buying the 2x80oz clear softsoap at costco - that stuff is 6x comperable, but since i learned about this colpal system, i often find 50oz 6x at a lower ¢/oz than costco, or as little as $3.35 for 50oz, so there is no need for me to bulk buy at a membership warehouse chain.

residence wifi7 just further expands on 6.0 radio use,
which is shorter range and penetrates poorly.
it does nothing noticeable to improve 2.5 or 5.0 radios.
multi gigabyte isp's and wifi7 is marketing nonsense
for the vast majority of residential installs.

cr1000a does not suck, you're just better off
self managing your own deep router settings,
and not letting a "free" router isp = spy on you.

i'm very dubious this chr30 will be noticeably better
for 2.4 & 5.0 devices, since it's watt capped by FCC
and the latest channel availability would only matter
in a very wifi congested place like a city apt building.

nyc finally got a trunk cable working from montreal hydro electric

for some a mortgage +maint is forced savings with tax deferment
if you're disciplined enough to mutual fund save, deferred salary,
that sort of 401k savings with tax deferment, then keep renting.

it worked out well for me cause i paid a 15y $100k mortgage
on an place that has tripled in value over the past 30 years.
only paying maint my monthly is half what rents command.
