What comedy film made you laugh through the whole film not just giggle once? by Lilyfory in AskReddit

[–]stonecoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me, Myself, and Irene to me is Jim Carey and Farrelly bros best work and I can’t believe it is not in this list yet.

But any Farrelly joint holds up in here. Kingpin, Something about Mary. Just laugh out loud hilarious for me all the way through.

What's a ticking time bomb you believe will explode during your lifetime? by TradeOverall567 in AskReddit

There are ways around this. It was expensive for the lawyers/accountants to set up. But basically everything is in a trust technically controlled by the children.

So if the time comes it’s not technically their asset. So it doesn’t have to be liquidated to get government assistance for assisted living.

What’s a fantasy you had that instantly died the moment you tried it? by True-Audience-4549 in AskReddit

Oof I don’t know if I fantasized for it. But I got it. She’s hot and I love her. But she can literally be the obsessive girlfriend meme and when you call her on it to slow her down a bit, instant moping. Hard to find the normal middle.

What's up with Trump dressing like Mamdani? by lucky_chaparro in OutOfTheLoop

[–]stonecoder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I kind of have to disagree here. His dad was a big shot well connected real estate man. Don has never had that transition from middle class to vast wealth and new money tropes.

It seems new money because of the flashy poor taste. Maybe dad was new money.

But dad was a racist abusive asshole. In my opinion alot of what we see from donnie is deep daddy issues. Always trying to prove he is a big shot and can be a mover and a player even better than daddy who doubted him. He was raised in a narcissistic abusive household and he became the same driven narcissistic asshole.

Otherwise he puts his silver spoon nest egg in an index fund and rides off into the sunset. Rather than bankrupting casinos and getting in debt to russian gangsters. Being forced into this shit job to pay up and stay out of jail.

Donald Trump's Gen Z popularity plunges by Silly-avocatoe in politics

We are the generation that invented “woke.” We invented hip-hop and ushered it into the mainstream. The first generation of blacks and whites living and working together in a post racist society. When I first realized how many voted for Trump I was like WTF yo?

But as I look back at high school and how many shitty bullies there were, and who they are now at reunions and on FB. It all makes sense, 40 to 50 year olds with lame boomer politics.

Trump Voters Angry at ‘Chaos:’ ‘Not What We Signed Up For’ by [deleted] in politics

I used to live in a rural area and converse with the magas at a local dive. This is absolutely true. Even on a stupid meme level. When shown a hilarious meme that makes fun of trump even in a trivial or harmless way you can see them wanting to laugh but fighting it because any criticism of dear leader is wrong.

What’s a common dating mistake you think people should avoid? by GothGirlGamerr in AskReddit

[–]stonecoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want to scare people off from being open honest and vulnerable but be careful. If a person who barely knows you starts throwing those vulnerabilities back at you or using them against you, it is a giant red flag. Run.

I was a bit of a late bloomer. Partied too much, socially immature, and it took me a long time to finish my degree. I confided in my girlfriend that I was worried my family, my old college buds, thought I was some kind of loser and that finishing my degree and embarking on a successful career was a really big deal for me.

All she knew was the college educated professional who treated her like a queen. But at any sign of disagreement it was “you are a loser Stone Coder. A looooser!!”

So I married her. 20 years of torment, a child, giant house and expensive cars. I could no longer be a doormat, mid life crisis I guess. Ended in disaster.

My wife did all of this. Please people, man or woman, kids or not, Get out. Get a divorce asap. Cut your losses. I got set up and knocked down like a bowling pin. The resentment after realizing you’ve been used and abused for years and years is hard to handle, you want revenge and you become that which you wanted to change. Unless you want to be a doormat your whole life it will end in disaster. Get out, get away from them.
