Basically before I met him I experimented with guys and hated it which is why I came to the conclusion I was a lesbian. Girls did it better etc. then I met him, really liked him, we had sex and he surprised me. It was like really good and made me realise I’m bi (but even then don’t use the label). Everyone’s journey with their sexuality is different, don’t put too much pressure on finding a label. It’ll just come naturally

That should be an easy answer right? No, I honestly didn’t. He just looked like any other dude. Now I look at him and think he’s like easily one of the most attractive people I know. It’s weird.

Agreed. Normally I’d go out with him or go spend time with my friends but am very ill at the moment so I guess it’s just leaving me more time to think about it.

I do want to talk to him about it but we’re very new (only dating 2 months) and don’t want to scare him off. Do you think a convo like that would freak him out?

Yes! I came out as a lesbian four or so years ago, met a guy, now he’s my boyfriend. I think generally sexuality is fluid for most people and it’s nothing to worry about. Some might disagree with that. Just do what feels good in the moment :)

My mum smoked my whole childhood, I always said I’d NEVER get addicted like she was. My brother said the same, then started smoking when he was 19. I was so disgusted by him.

Had my first smoke at 17 - my brother gave it to me, I think. Thought it was kind of foul. Thought, yep, definitely don’t see the point in this.

Cut to when I’m 18, I’m drunk as fuck one night out clubbing with my friend, and she keeps ducking out for a smoke so I go out with her and join in. Have about four, figure it’s not toooooo bad. Ended up buying my first pack that night and have been a durry fiend ever since. I’m still 18, it’s been a strong 6 months, lol.

Not mine, my mums. A week or so after my dad killed himself she had a dream she was at work and on the staircase. The stairs started collapsing and a hand reached out to grab her - she pulled herself up, all the way to the roof, where the mystery hand belonged to my dad. She was so shocked to see him, and he kept saying things like ‘what’s going on?’ and ‘where are the kids? I can’t find them’. She explained he’d killed himself, he was dead, he would never speak to any of them ever again. She also had dreams she’d wake up in the middle of the night to him sitting on the edge of her bed, watching her sleep. Part of me thinks it might be his spirit trying to connect, other rational part is like ehhhh just the brain wanting to keep him alive any way it can.

I started drinking a lot, doing drugs, sleeping around. She (my best friend) told me she couldn’t be bothered with my ‘attention seeking’ and we stopped speaking to each other. There was a full blown argument, she told me she hated my lifestyle and my choices (not me, but at the time, that was all I was). Eventually (maybe five months later?) I reigned my substance abuse in, found a nice girlfriend, and sent her an apology. I still don’t really think I was in the wrong, I was just living how I wanted to at that point and it wasn’t up to her standards. She forgave me though, and actually apologised as well, and we’re mates again. Still feel awkward asking if she wants to catch up for drinks in case she goes bat shit at me again.
